  1. What's your first Jeep memories

I sadly have no pictures of it, but my uncle who was like 50-some years older then I, was a Korean war vet who was a cook in a MASH unit. He often drove M38 Willys over there, sometime in my young childhood he bought himself an old 1952 M38 that he re-built the motor on. He lived next door to...
  2. Custom water transport system

Lone rock concepts, its just a tap style pump though that just replaces the plastic spicket that comes on most reliance jugs. Although I paid like $45 at the time for its adapter kit. With the kit it's normally quite expensive. Light weight, life warranty and they advertise 30 days/30 gallons...
  3. Custom water transport system

Yeah thats why I said I got an overpriced one... I got frustrated after battery life issues on couple reasonably priced ones. Then saw a black Friday sale on one that had stupid long battery life and was way overbuilt for what I needed and impulse bought it.
  4. Custom water transport system

Ha I even have an overpriced rechargeable faucet pump for the reliance jugs I have.
  5. Dilemna on tires…

I never liked them in slush, but they were also know for having soft sidewalls. For price point there are just better options. Not bad tires just if you can get BFG or Falken for close to same price is all (among others of course.). ----------------------------------------------------- To stay...
  6. Tennessee Factor 55 Hitchlink 2.0 red and orange

Send me a DM, if the other is still available. It'd be nice to have a spare and that's a good price.
  7. How do Gladiators handle on the highway?

Funny say that I have fox ats stabilizer, marketplace find didn't need it at time but price was right. Waiting on doing front end stuff, ball joints and upgrades etc this summer. Before putting that on. But hell since I posted that like a couple years back it's even louder on highway now. Don't...
  8. Anyone else have windows that "creep" down?

My rear drivers does this on occasion. I just snug it up and it will stay for another month or two. Odd thing is say something like off roading the bouncing around doesn't seem to make it creep down at all. Just does randomly does so.
  9. Reaching out to the Gladiator family once again for advice.

Winch is sythetic, so meant weight in general not that picked overly heavy because it had a steel line... same with the full width bumper it isn't actually a super heavy thick bumper. Didn't need zombie killer so didn't get one. So heavy as heavy for shirty stock mopar shocks. Not meant heavy as...
  10. Reaching out to the Gladiator family once again for advice.

I put a 3" lift plus 3/4" puck in front to level it off a bit. Steel bumper and the winch caused sag, so that was the driver to get the lift in first place in lieu of just a level kit. Shop I went with said that probably what I was looking for. Not too high and took most of the rake out too...
  11. Exceedfab's SD1 tube door is now available!

 Greatest marketing ploy ever... lol
  12. Popping from underneath as suspension cycles?

None of the bars in that area rubbing anywhere are they? I'd doubt it as probably would feel that, but something to check since it started after a lift take the skid plate off and take video all around the bars to see if there is any sign of that. Unless you are hearing something echo due to the...
  13. Is your Gladiator pulling after a lift??

Didn't have issues after lift (3" + 3/4" leveling puck) but it came with correction brackets to correct the caster. So it's been fine, only noticeable issue I had after lift is bounce back from stabilizer on harsh bumps. Nothing normal driving you'd feel, so really not an issue. Just noticeable...
  14. I got a ticking noise with only 23,000 mile!!!

This was my outcome, but I got to a bit after 155K before it happened to me. Had no warning and little noise but nothing loud like you'd expect and once it finally gave warning lights / started acting up the cam that went bad had basically put metal into other areas for me as well. But didn't...
  15. airing up tires ?

That was joking mostly in case missed that. But I think it highly depends where you are, what you are doing, if you are in fact airing down often and my tendency to just being minimalist on some things as well. It is not a case of buy once cry once, I wouldn't think. More of what do you need...
  16. airing up tires ?

Cheap 12v, the kind you hook directly to the battery via alligator type clamps, with a higher PSI rating. Think it's a 150psi rated or something like that. Takes a few minutes per tire, if you're way down. You can spend 3 times as much on nice compressors to save 4 minutes though. Joking aside...
  17. Paint marker after drilling holes?

Because I have them around I use them on all kinds of things. On the jeep its usually used as touch up on aftermarket bumper or steps when I scratch/chip them. Find an industrial one like markal or something.
  18. OEDRO front bumper to flat tow

If they don't specifically state that the recovery points are flat tow capable, then I would say they are not rated for it. Or at least not officially DOT rated for such things even if the points are good enough to hold. That opens up issues if it is not DOT rated, if ever get into an accident.
