  1. Gladiator Duel Top Seasonal Switch

My reasons for buying the TopLift Pro -- I have used a pulley system in the past. My current garage doesn't quite have enough ceiling height now. Also, getting someone to help me at my remote home location is not always easy. Quite a few glad owners have decided to use the Hardtop Hotel...
  2. Gladiator Duel Top Seasonal Switch

Great time of year for Jeeps here in the Northeast! I have a great time with my stock hardtop during cold and icy winter months (Nov-April) and switch to my Mopar twill Premium Soft Top during better weather (April-Nov). It's been fantastic having both tops. Would never go back to owning just...
  3. Optional JT Product -- Posers Selling Breakdown Insurance and Calling it MOPAR

Thank you for the replies. I'll try to provide more info and answers -- I know how to delete, block, unsubscribe, etc., but I wanted to know who is behind all this. I kept getting sales calls, letters, emails, etc., stating they are from Mopar. They claim it provides a warrantee beyond what is...
  4. Optional JT Product -- Posers Selling Breakdown Insurance and Calling it MOPAR

Mopar gave permission for a private company to perform hard-sell sales tactics to sell additional coverage on Jeep Gladiators purchased new. The sales people and their bombardment of ads, mailers, burst emails, texts, phone calls, and other harassing hard-sell tactics are being used to sell us...
  5. Bought my diesel Rubicon last night and sales rep confided that morale is shyte..lol.

I think we need to add a file folder on here titled, "JUNK!", where WE get to scrap and dump all these ridiculous illogical rants, plus the Jeep-trashing rants. Especially this one, since it makes no sense and it smells like baloney all around. They add no value to JT owners and they just...
  6. Low profile antennas

Last July I was fortunate enough to participate in a test of 23 different antennas. Various lengths, various types, etc., all for GMRS and CB. I will provide comments here that is summarized without the technical data we recorded, re. gain, measured signal, etc. It included testing...
  7. Parking your Jeep outside

There are many variables that must be considered to answer your question. 1. Weather - Ice ? - Hail ? - How cold ? - High wind and trees close by ? - Ceramic or good wax protectant on paint ? 2. Soft top or hard top ? Soft top and plastic rear window doesn’t take to many months of ice and...
  8. Thinking Gladiator

There are best yet price incentives today on NEW 2023s. It will cost a lot more than a Ranger though. If you're looking for a loan, interest rates are pretty high at this time. Loan and lease prices are highly driven by credit scores. Since Gladiators are one of the most customized and highly...
  9. Huge Discounts on 2023 Gladiators!

All 60K and up cars are seeing slow sales
  10. Huge Discounts on 2023 Gladiators!

Jeeps are discounted the most from mid Nov through Jan 30 each year.
  11. Volume turns down intermittently

it sounds like a road noise adjustment. On the stock radio you can set your stereo to auto adjust volume for road noise, phone use, or nav directions. You’ll need to check your settings across each of these.
  12. More strikes affecting gladiators

I don’t believe it’s all that bad. According to documents from workers and management released this week, they have enough parts, tooling, and added capacity to put out 2024s with just a couple weeks delay from last year. I ordered a 2022 in July 2021 that I received end of Jan.
  13. My Gladiator Seasonal To-Do List

I was asked recently at a Jeep event by a relatively new Jeep owner, "Are there things I need to do during the upcoming seasonal change". Since I'm in the Northeast U.S. and the person asking is also in this region, I thought it might be a good idea to create a list of seasonal things many of...
  14. considering a gladiator, but got some requirements

I believe this site is for Gladiator owners only, it sounds like you’re not even sold on a Gladiator. These “requirements” you have should be given to a Jeep dealer sales person for answers. Good luck, and I hope you find the vehicle you require.
  15. Help. Soft top or Sunrider??

That depends which soft top you want. The vinyl base top can be found for $900-$1200. The Mopar base vinyl top is $1200-$1400. The Premium Mopar twill top is $1500-$1800. Of course you can find these on Marketplace or other sales sites for less.
  16. Help. Soft top or Sunrider??

I own a hardtop (with Freedom panels) and Mopar twill soft top. I used the hardtop for 3 months during cold weather. Took off the easily removed freedom panels whenever possible. I kep the freedom panel bag in my bed and took them on and off often. I then tried a sunrider for a few weeks. Had...
  17. What do you trust more? TPMS or tire gauge?

My tire gauge and my TPMS is very close (+/- 1 lb), Usually the same. Is it a decent tire gauge? You can get a good 0-100 lb gauge on amazon. The TPMS does take a short distance to reset.
  18. Bike Racks

Kind of, but not exactly... I use a Mopar removable roof rack. I attaches to gutters on hard top rearward of freedom panels. Allows panels to be removed. Then added a Thule bicycle rack to both sides of rook rack. Then use a Yakima canoe clamp-on on rearward rack. Canoe goes into the bed and...
  19. Oil Change Intervals

My rule of thumb is to always change oil for towing around 1/2 of manufacturer recommendation. They recommend 10,000 with minimal towing. I don't know, but I've owned several diesel towing vehicles in the past, and always changed the oil 2-3 times recommendation. That diesel fuel and the burned...
  20. bed liner advice

There are some YouTube videos of the factory applied spray-on liner. It appears to be done after most assembly is complete. If you did not buy new with it already in, Mopar sells their mixture to companies who have molar approved spray equipment. I got mine from the factory with the spray-in...
