This looks exactly like the Datin Fab rack you used to sell. Did you just buy Datin? Is it a better primer and coating? I really liked how I can use the softopper and the rack, but, once it starts to rust in the little nooks and crannies, you’re done. I just spent $600 getting mine recoated. I’m...
I’m digging the color. I love my softopper, and I like the Datin Fabricators rack that fits over it. Next up is some LED strip lights for the back. Two strips on the side rails and one across the back rail.
F*@ckinghell! I just got a new auxiliary battery at 8500 miles and 10 months. The engineers at Jeep need to be beaten profusely about the face and neck. The ESS sucks. I’m just starting a claim with customer care about the fuse block. A 150A fuse is the size of a 30A plug-in fuse, and they are...
You would like to think that if the fuse blew, which caused the battery to stop charging, I might see a message saying to service the ESS system…….before it dies and leaves you stranded. WTF? Over
Yes, I literally read that to the service manager. He said that they don’t list every single part that is covered, and the fuse block is not. We’re going to see about that bullshit. Less than 8k miles, with no electrical modifications. I can’t say strongly enough to stay away from Ferman CJDR
Great idea. The first gladiator had no problem with that, even though I did add a winch and lighting. But, for such a small part and only $100, if I was wheeling somewhere remote I would have been totally f*@ked.
Holy shite! Sweet truck! I’m sticking with the stock setup for my Mojave, except the 35’s from the dealer on day one. Being in Florida now instead of Colorado, we mostly bring toys to the causeway and get on the water. Enjoy the wheeling!
Update! The fuse block fried apparently. The dealer replaced the auxiliary battery because it was dead. The technician said that it must have failed previously because it would take a while for the battery to drain down to dead. The auxiliary battery is what powers the power steering pump...
Yesterday, with <9000 miles on my new gladiator Mojave, the power steering pump failed, and the engine shut down. I had just filled up with gas, and after restarting, I turned off the ESS, when I heard a clicking sound from up front. Immediately I saw a warning light to service the power...
I drove my ‘21 Mojave in the mountains of Colorado, the canyons of Utah and everything in between. Only in the most extreme crawling will the Rubicon outperform the Mojave. Did most of engineers pass in 2wd, most of Ophir pass in 2wd. The white rim, chicken corners, onion creek, and the first...
I doubt you could modify the Frontier to become half the vehicle the Gladiator starts at. I am also on my second Gladiator Mojave edition. The first one we ran the hell out of in the mountains of Colorado and the 4 corners region, and it was extremely capable. After 50k miles, and moving to...
Not only am I still on factory wheels, when I traded my ‘21 Mojave for a’24 Mojave, I had 35’s put on the factory ‘21 wheels and kept them on my new ‘24. I preferred the flat black vs silver trimmed, they work fine, no need to spend money on wheels.
Recently put on the IAG EZsteps. I’m 6’2” and don’t really need them with 35’s, but my 5’2” wife loves them. Clean look. They feel durable. Time will tell on the hardware. I have a suspicion that I will be looking for new hardware before all is said and done.
