That’s a fair point on the driveshaft , Retubing the shafts is definitely a cheaper path than buying custom 1350s .

Exactly my thoughts. In the sand 4-Low 4:1 is way too slow, and 4-Auto is just a heat generator that cooks the clutches. I spend 100% of my time in 4-High, so I just need a solid mechanical lock. the NV241 is the same as MP1622 with is the standard T-case (Command -Trac) The NV241OR (Rock-Trac)...

Appreciate it 👍 I agree on avoiding clutch packs. With my use, a full mechanical case makes more sense. Good to know the 241 can handle the 5.7.

Appreciate it , I’m leaning toward the 241 at this point , but it seems I need to change the drive shaft too , I am not sure Atlas sounds great but it’s out of my budget for now, Rebuilding could work, but I feel like it’ll just fail again under the same conditions. MP1622C still an option.
