I bought my truck with a few thousand miles on it certified pre-owned BUT like the title.. is it worth it? I dont want to be stuck on the side of the road or have my truck at the dealer for weeks....
edit.. Did I miss this post somewhere? There is apparently a RECALL on our fuel pumps coming...
okay thanks for posting Bill. The notches threw me.. I think if I go with the 2.5" lift I will get new isolators.. any suggestions let me know! :) Or if we need new ones at all..
I noticed on my '21 Sport diesel (stock) on a wet and windy road the back end was all over the place especially downhill. I did not expect to have to slow down on some turns that much recently.. no idea why its like that either..
You truck looks REALLY good tho man. I must admit. And yes, I am a no - step guy but may cave if I get the lift..
Also looks like the eco-d is real sensitive to weight of tires or cargo. Good to know.
edit - did anyone notice an INCREASE in mpg by adding a bed cover? My bed cover is really...
This may sound like a little but of a rant but its really some of my experience (non jeep) on other cars and spending money and time on tracking down issues. Which is why I started the thread of which y'all have been extremely helpful - thank you.
Based on your and other's experiences and...
Thanks everyone so far:
Camaroboi13 - "37s brought me down to 22.5mpg" <-- This, Im still new and dont know what stock height is but I WONDER if the way to combat this is with lighter tires? I did some comparisons and found good quality larger tires .. I dunno like.. 255's vs my 235's for...
Hi everyone, are there an changes that happened as a result of leveling - or lifting your jeep in addition like 2-3.5" that annoy you? I am trying to look at this from more than just one angle. Like squeaks/rattles, braking, accelerating, MPG (diesel?), handling, stability or general...
I dont put anything in the bed so not worried about that. Im leaning now toward front springs and shocks.. or like Camaroboi13 who did the 2” spacers with no other mods(brand?).. again want to level front without lots of expensive mods and the diesel factor means if it raises a gas 1” inch it...
Also, why would i need to pay for new bumpstops if the spring travel is the same (referencing terraflex in video) and oilburner what do you mean by “ better”. Smaller? So the dont hit as easily?thanks
Wow, thanks for the replies everyone. I will be absorbing this and deciding what to do. I may go with heavier duty shocks bc of the bottoming out.. I have to hit 6 of these dumb speed humps every day now..
In the short term, it seems that bc its a diesel, the 2" lift is probably the same as...
Hi guys. Looks like a great forum! LOVE the truck. ? My diesel '21 has a rake of 2" measured at the front (lower) than back. .. measured at the fender lip. I want to level it with back.
1. IF I get a 2" spacer, is there anything else that will be affected?? Like alignment, steering...
