I had it there for a while, didn't like it. Was concerned with stuff banging into it. I hide it behind the dash, so the USB port it's plugged into now will be free.
I use this guide:
(28) Jeep JL Car Play Project. | Jeep Wrangler Forums (JL / JLU) -- Rubicon, 4xe, 392, Sahara, Sport -...
First mod - wireless android auto.
Got all the parts to hide it like I did in my wrangler, now I just need to finish the install.
For some reason when I hooked my phone up directly(wired), it just kept throwing errors that my device wasn't supported, or there was a problem with my device or...
312 miles from Tysons Corner VA to Greensboro NC. Through the VA hills, trying to baby it (rarely even got to 70mph). It hurt my soul to go 55 - 65 on these roads trying to keep the RPM's down, but I did it anyway so I could break in the engine a bit (followed guidelines from the owner's manual).
(also copy paste from the other thread)
necro thread but I feel I had to make an update.
I think the Mojave's I test drove were duds.
Went to another dealer and test drove a few Sports (not the sport s, basic sport). It was horrible. I test drove another overland and it was nice. I thought they...

Anyone ever try mounting the rear to the speaker bar? I don't have my JT yet so I can't look to see if it's a decent spot.
I have it mounted to the bar in my wrangler and it gets enough of the back, but there's also no 5 foot bed behind it, so not sure if you'd actually see anything with it...
Thats what I'm hoping to clarify here.
When I bought my wrangler I spoke with(not kidding) 33 different dealerships within a 500 mile radius. They all told me different things/provided me obviously incorrect information that was easily researchable. Koons and Tri-Cities were the only two that...
I expect the Mojave will get pretty bad mileage with the axles and gearing it's got. I think there's something weird going on with airflow under it as well. I can't really find a good picture but there's a nice sized gap between the front bumper and the skid plate they're using to protect the...
Hoping to get clarification today :)
I was confused because I literally got off the phone with another dealership a few hours before seeing this post and they specifically told me the 3,000 bonus cash was NOT price protected and would only apply if it was still active after the vehicle came in...
I always feel bad for the people who get all worked up about MPG discussions in regard to jeeps.
I don't understand why anyone would be upset about it. Where does the "if you don't do what I do in my jeep with your jeep; then you're dumb and you shouldn't have the thing that I have" mentality...
so, the 3000 cash back is price protected?
If I order today, and it comes in October and they're no longer offering the 3000 cash back it's still applicable?
And, if they offer 5000 for some reason, would we get the extra 2000?
had 1.24% in May 2021 from PenFed.
It's now up to 4.69%
It looks like base price on the gladiators will be going up in 2024, and I'm sure interest rates won't be coming down.
Sucks not knowing if I should jump on a truck now, or wait until the new ones come out.
Rates kind of made the...
Thats cool.
That wiki article is the first I've heard of the 4cyl being called a hurricane.
The only hurricane I knew of was the inline 6 twin turbo that I think is on the wagoneer?
Thats the one we want :P
Agreed. Massive difference though, and both at 40PSI. I usually drive on 37 so I don't see 3 PSI making up the gap. Might go back, take out a different mojave and lower the tires to 35PSI when I'm off the lot to do another test :P
I did forget to mention that there was no road noise from the...
Hooray another old thread.
I just got back from test driving a 2023 Mojave and a 2023 Overland. Mojave was a much harsher ride. You feel every bump, pothole, etc on the road. I'm just going to paste what I put in the other thread. I hate to bring these back from the dead but the people saying...
I know this is a dirt old thread but I just got back from test driving both the Mojave and Overland.
Back to back, same tire pressure, same exact roads, made sure to hit all the potholes and manhole covers on the road that I could.
Mojave was a harsher ride. A much, much harsher ride. I was able...
