How did you know that you’d have to push it few milimeters in?

It indeed was loose at some point and I retightened it. Part of the noise was gone but this thumping noise didn’t go away.

I was on 35x11.5r17 ridge grappler with stock gear when I first noticed the noise. I'm currently on patagonia milestar mt02 38x13.5r17 with 5.13 regear.

Update! I have took it to dealership couple days ago, they couldn't duplicate the noise for a week and I came into the dealership to test drive with the technician. He admitted that he could hear it but very inconsistently. Though they didn't take any action about it other than documenting it...
