I had the same thing happen when it was 5 degrees out and sat for a couple days about a month ago. I took it into Jeep and they said they couldn’t find anything. I kept checking but couldn’t find anything. I was thinking transmission fluid since mine was in the back of the engine Bay Area. But...
I have a softopper on too but added some led strips on top and then also some cheap rock lights under the bed sides. I wired a sae plug to the back fill panel in the bed. That way I can use anything that would use that connector.
Give it a day or so in the sun. I bought a new in box top off Facebook and thought the exact thing when I installed it. I was reading somewhere that the hardtop really crushed the foam or whatever is in-place around the windshield channel (was getting a ton of air noise around the top mirror)...
I have a 22 sport with max tow. 2.5 Clayton lift and 35x12.5 Toyo rt trails. I’d say I average about 14.5 to 15.5. No mountains here. I have not seen 17mpg since the lift and tires.
Sold the 35ft camper and the truck just sat there. I’ve had two previous JKU’s but always got rid of them for another truck. Felt like the gladiator bridged that gap.
They are KYX brand from Amazon. I bought the Jeep used and that was the one aftermarket upgrade the previous owned did. They seem decently solid and I was going to remove them. But I have some little ones that need that extra step up after I lifted it.
