Was offered a position overseas... can't take the gladiator- simple solution is to sell it...
but when I go out to the garage and look at it.... well, I don't want to sell it/it doesn't want me to sell it-
Anyone store one of these for 9 months plus? if so, any tips or lessons learned that you...
So, I take it if you had the base sport without the larger touchscreen and the jeep carefully tracking all that you/we do... not only we wouldn't be tracked, but we wouldn't be 'pushed' Peace of Mind messages--- we'd instead, be left in peace....
they should have put that on the window...
Probably makes a huge difference on how cold your vehicle gets in the winter- mine is usually parked in a heated garage a lot of the winter months- run the f-150 when weather dips real low here.. but vehicle batteries don't seem to be lasting as long, in general, as they used to. (someone else...
There are some great deals out there- I just don't know that i would ever go with a diesel.. i'm confused enough already just going from my f-150 to the gladiator and back with the window switches being on door to the middle console.. i always seem to reach the wrong way now, whichever one i'm...
Well... you are going from sarge green to sarge green?
I'd say... if you're going to do it- really do it up: (you got me looking at what's left of the '23 diesel's now..)
check out this one...
If you need the diesel and you actually found a brand-new '23 that's got exactly what you want option-wise... sounds like it may be the time--- no diesels in '24... just my opinion..
When you buy the batteries, try to ensure that if the battery(s) fail within the time period, you get a replacement battery free-- not a 'pro-rated' charge for the same battery..
My f-150's battery w/ a 3-year replacement warranty just failed after a bit over a year-- sucks, but it's nice that...
Working fine, I got them last fall for $1000 for the set of four mounted on the original rims, had under 1k miles on them--- (was cheaper than buying snow tires, and got the mojave rims as a bonus!)
Wasn't sure what to expect- granted, we didn't have a bad winter.. but did get some ice storms...
I've got a '22 overland, too... best purchase I made for it was buying a set of take-off Mojave rims/wildpeak tires- took a hit on gas mileage but looks and drives much better in winter...
I was always wondering what to do about the spare-- (thinking it was 18" to match the stock overland...
I have a 22 Overland- no wide axles... but if there's info you need for your pickup.. can lookup here: (copying from someone elses post on a different thread)
You can lookup the full build sheet here.
Build Sheet by VIN
Window Sticker here (just enter the VIN in the URL)...
if I were to do it over again, i'd go base sport + max tow.. get the wider axles, 4.10 gear ratio and on a 2023, it'd be under 40k.. that just seems like a screaming deal.. I keep looking- :)
I paid 50k for mine.. but I do enjoy a lot of the creature comforts mine has.. like the alpine system...
make sure you get what you want rather than a great deal on one that's the wrong color, or whatever-- it'll annoy the hell out of you... but search on jeeps site if you haven't already:
I'd reach out to the dealer via messaging/email-- some are more willing to work with you than others if you...
They are selling... and now the sun is out- supposed to be in the 50's next week...
I just checked my local dealer's site...
16 gladiators available:
15 are 2024 models, all priced above 45k..
1 is a used 2020 with 50k miles, decently equipped sport with hard top and auto and cold weather...
it's mid-march... weather beginning to turn for the better...
Gladiator is still the only convertible truck out there.
2024 is just the 5th year of the jeep gladiator... so, limited in used, just because of that there's only been 4 production years plus the current one...
True, there are...
maybe should see how cheap you can buy the 'four switches' for the power windows... make yourself a little cubby hole for cash/credit cards... especially useful when you have the doors off... (no one will know that the switches are bogus-switches.....) Also, when you have the doors off... you...
for prices for your like-new tires, i'd look for the same tires here on member market place, craigslist, ebay, whatever.. and see what other people are trying to sell them for-- and monitor to see how much they actually get... you could probably just price them new, without install fees.. and...
I was running stock wheels/tires the winter after purchasing my overland and due to that it spent most of the winter of 22/23 garaged-
I had good luck with goodyear tires on my f-150 and was going to buy a set for my jeep overland, with a bit added depth like ShadowsPapa went with the General...
