Mopar hard tri-fold, closest section to the cab, does tilt up to give full access to bed-- (there's some youtube videos that show this)
I've got it on my gladiator and no issues- still like it better than soft cover just because we get a lot of wind, etc.
I got the mopar tri-fold hard cover thrown in the deal with my JT... it's been great, looks fine too, even after a year-- we get a lot of wind up here, so I didn't want a soft cover one...
...and when you test drove it-- did you have hot chicks suddenly appearing in vehicles next to you- slowing down and asking you to roll down your window-- asking you-- 'that's max tow, isn't it?' or 'i love your axles!'
That's when you know you bought a max tow...
there's more details on max tow package (yes/no) here: https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/how-can-i-tell-if-a-used-gladiator-has-the-max-tow-option.54410/
Max Tow would say 'Max Tow' and show Dana 44 Wide axles, etc- you can check out a window sticker of a '22 glad with max tow advertised at a jeep dealer online if you want a comparison..
Yes! More green-- doesn't have to be sarge green, but some type of green. Always should have option for green interior-- dark green dash... green lights... the works!
they are still offering deep discounts on new 2023's... jeep's inventory search website leaves something to be desired- but, if you are searching just for a gladiator > diesel powertrain --- that works fine.... shows something over 1200 available nationwide, i just checked it... if you find one...
this issue irked me for the first few months i had my jeep... then i remembered i lived in north dakota and started tossing the keyfob in the flip-open console between driver/passenger seat and only pulling it back out when i have my jeep safely locked up in my garage for the day...
bought mine new in 2022... i was really surprised how bad Uconnect & the nav system worked- I let mine expire except--- did re-start the sirius xm radio portion for 6 bucks a month or something recently.
I do listen to xm radio or my own music from my phone-- also using google maps from my...
Good deal, I was just thinking I'd want to avoid the possible clutch overheating issue w/ the manual trans. if i were buying a new one... didn't realize max tow would have the auto by default.- thx~~
I think anything under 37k for a brand new sport /max tow is a real good deal... surprised someone hasn't already driven off the lot with it. My only recommendation is to make sure it's got automatic transmission.
Yep, I thought I'd throw it out there, though... GG, no chips or cracks after over 8k miles!
(I wouldn't have ordered it had it not been on the vehicle already--- but, I can't complain!)
I purchased my JT off the dealer's lot and it came with the GG option-- not sure if it's helping or not.. but over 8k miles... my windshield has taken several hits-- but no chips yet. (I'll be sure to knock on the gorilla glass next time I'm next to it, just before hopping in the driver's seat.)
If you're going to trade it in, I'd take a serious look at a 2023- If you're going to make the switch- why not use the dealers incentives of like 12k off a new rubicon glad and get 3 years of full warranty along with it.
I think the combo: '23 Gladiator 15% off sale & this UAW strike has been real good for moving new jeeps off of dealer lots... they're probably selling other models, too-- but the '23 gladiators are disappearing
