If needed you can get your steering box rebuilt at Redneck Ram for like $280 I think is what I was quoted but I know it wasn't too expensive. I had a couple people tell them that they got theirs rebuilt a couple times but it would just keep failing so I just bit the bullet and get the PSC kit...
Oh, you brought backup. Did you think adding a photo of it on a metal RTI ramp would save you? If anything, you just handed over more ammunition.
Let's look at the new evidence:
The RTI Ramp Flex: Nothing says "I swear my truck is a real rock crawler" quite like paying money to drive one wheel...
Thanks, the heim joints were a little noisy at first but I oiled them with some Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant and that helped a lot. I don't know much about GenRight Products. The kit does look similar except my bars are all straight and used off center heim joints and they use regular heim joints...
Yeah, I drive it pretty conservatively. When I first got it was driving it like I stole it but it was coming close to the temp ranges so I've backed off and just drive it conservatively and usually stay around 75mph or slower.
The one linked is the CSF Race one. The CSF website links to Quadratac to purchase it but they don't say CSR racing on Quadratec but it is the $700 one and listed as Heavy-Duty vs the other one that is like $300 I think.

Here is the radiator mentioned in the thread. I believe there is another thread with the install of the radiator that goes over the additional parts you need for the installation but not sure.

Got it back from the shop for a week for testing. Here are the pics of the new steering setup with HEIM Joints and a sleeved DOM tubing so I don't bend this one at almost 2inches thick.
I get 20/24 with my build with 1 tons, 6.5inch lift on 42s. I would say it might be a little high but still probably close to what it could get if you drive it conservatively.
After months of waiting on parts, I finally got Maximus back for a couple of weeks to test drive and shake down. After the Rubicon, the steering and suspension were hammered—I found that everywhere the long arm kit connected to the frame and axles, the mounting holes had started wallowing out...
I would say the answer is yes since they state it right in there manual but not sure if that is affected by Live Functions are not. But it is possible for the Tazer to drain your battery.
Sucks your having these issues. I haven't had any issues with mine. We bought used JL that already had them installed and they didn't work but the dealership fixed that. They said they had to replace the main wiring harness for it. I did contact their Support a couple times for our JL and they...
I can do most add-on stuff but haven't really got into fabrication, welding or anything like that. I have wanted to but never wanted to try on my daily. I have a always liked the Samurais and have had a few of them. I picked this one up to start learning on. Plan is to add the trail slayer Kit...
If you want to be able to mount your equipment anywhere along the dash take a look at Anvil Overland Dash-Bar.

I couldn't find a pic of a 24-26 with it installed but here on the 18-23 JT.
For me it doesn't really matter. If you build it yourself you are getting exactly what you what you want and you know how to fix or what parts are on it. If you buy it already built you could be inheriting someone else problems or not know what parts on it or how to fix it. I had a gas JT and...
Bushings, only have 36K miles and every bushing in the suspension and steering is completely worn out and shot. The shop has never seen it and said it looks like the bushings have 100K miles on them.
I was on the Rubicon Trail and we stopped for a bathroom break and I put the JT in park and the entire Dash light up like a christmas tree, the horn started honking, the windshield wipers started going and everyone was looking at me wondering what I was doing. I shut it off and back on and it...
