Based on the āinternal dealer spec sheetā information, if a Jeep has the āFactory Tow Packageā I would assume that the Jeep would have 75W-140 from the factory. Anyone know if that is correct?
What about this?

I have no experience with spacers. AEV wheels for the JT have +25 offset, which would move the wheel 19mm(3/4ā) further out. Use the thinnest spacer possible that will get you the clearance you need. There are plenty of threads on here discussing the negatives of moving the wheels outward if...
How bad are they rubbing? I think factory wheels have a +44 offset. Not the cheap fix but wheels with less offset might solve the problem. There are also some threads discussing adjusting the stop limiting how sharp/far you can turn.
In the attached photos of the passenger side, the bolt I am touching can be adjusted out to decrease how far you can turn the wheel. I searched but couldnāt find previous posts discussing doing this. If I remember correctly you remove the bolt and place washers behind it to shim it to the length...
Under what conditions does the tire rub occur? Is it when you turn? If the info I found is correct, your wheels have a -18mm offset which may contribute to the problem.
I wasnāt aware that a regen would occur based on mileage. The ScanGauge also tracks mileage since the last regen. In the future I will pay attention to that as well. My assumption was that the soot load alone determines the need for a regen.
I donāt think the ScanGauge was stuck or failing to update because up until the point that it went from 38 to 82 the soot level had been gradually dropping from around 43 down to 38 while driving on the interstate. The gauge also showed a small increase in soot when I made a short side trip from...
After about 30 miles of mostly interstate driving the soot level displayed on my ScanGauge 2 read ā38ā. Within minutes of exiting the highway and slowing to 40 mph the soot level displayed jumped to ā82ā and according to the ScanGauge regeneration started. I continued driving and in about 8...
Do you have any pictures you could post of your hood with the modified vents? I have a ā22 Rubicon diesel and might want to do the same thing. Thanks
It wasnāt hard. There is a factory wiring harness that runs on top of the frame and I zip tied my wiring to it until I got behind the cab. I used a piece of grass trimmer line to fish the wire from the frame into the bed.
I ran my wiring from the battery under the cab along the top of the passenger side frame then up between the bed and cab and into the bed through the existing oval hole with the plastic cover on the lower right side of the front of the bed.
The Bunker Industry jack is much more versatile because of the range of height it provides not to mention the capacity and price. Guess Iāll just wait.

Iām satisfied with the shocks. There is a noticeable difference when you change the settings. Being able to adjust the stiffness depending on load and conditions is a nice option to have. I went from the stock Rubicon suspension to the Clayton 2.5ā Overland Plus with the Falcons and it made a...
I have the same lift, RSI topper and roof top tent on a 22 Rubicon diesel. I still have the stock swaybar but have the Falcon adjustable shocks which give me the ability to adjust based on the weight Iām carrying and whether Iām on or off road.
