Thanks checking. I appreciate it. Shipping is crazy isn’t it? That would make it $180 or $195. I think at that price I will just buy a new black one as it’s only $259 shipped. Thank you for checking.
I was planning to get a Spiderweb Shade for my JTD to leave under the hardtop when I remove it. I had a full length one on my 2004 TJ and really liked it. Came across a JTops sunshade that’s appears pretty cool as well. Anyone have experience with this sunshade? Thanks.
I will primarily drive paved roads. Occasional snow and ice (Kansas City). My limited off pavement will likely be unpaved roads and some fields for pheasant hunting. Recommendations appreciated. I am looking for something much quieter than current KM2’s. Thank you.
Bought a 2023 JTD Willys with Aluminum wheels and BF Goodrich Mud-terrain T/A KM2’s. Don’t like the road noise and don’t really need the aggressive tread. Contemplating selling KM’s (< 1000 miles) and purchasing something less aggressive (Cooper Discover Road & Trail?). Recommendations? Any...
I have a new to me JTD Willys that I will add a folding tonneau cover to. I am considering getting a Bedliner sprayed in first or using a high quality bed mat (e.g., WeatherTech). I will use the bed to haul light building materials, yard waste, bags of mulch and other Harry Homeowner things. Any...
New 2023 JTD Willys. Love the diesel, hate the headlights. From the threads here it seems I am not alone. It also seems replacing with LEDs is a common option, but seems pretty expensive. Has anyone have experience replacing their Halogen bulbs with something brighter they would recommend...
That raises a question. As much as i thought I wanted to replace my Halogen bulbs with LED’s, has anyone just replaced their Halogen bulbs with some brighter/better? Thanks.
Thanks for all the great advice. I am in the Kansas City area and we are forecast to get an arctic blast late this coming week (-5 F). I’ve heard diesel fuel gels at these temps and requires a winter additive. Any recommendations on additives? Luckily this is a once or twice a year event. Thanks!
This is great advice everyone. I really appreciate the detailed information.; I am much more comfortable now. The more I read on the forum, the happier I am with my choice.
Several references to EDT additive. I assume that just goes in with a full tank of fuel? Where do you buy it?
Thanks...
I decided to replace my 2004 TJ and purchased a Willys turbo-diesel Gladiator today to take advantage of the year-end rebates since I have been wanting a pickup. I had previously test-driven a gas-powered Mojave but fell in love with the diesel torque. If I am careful with quality fuel, is water...
