I'll start off by saying I HATE this thing. I will not buy another Chrysler product until they totally redo this piece of garbage. Here's an example..
I get in, start it up. "No Device." Audio, then Devices, then Bluetooth so it will play from my phone. Then, approximately six engine starts...
Have you weighed your Gladiator? I haven't found a place to weigh mine yet so I figured I'd ask here to get a general idea. I have a 2023 Willys, 100% stock (3.6L). I'd like to know the weight on each axle. For example, on my 2005 Dodge RAM dually, unloaded (full tank of fuel) I have approx...
To be honest... if I could have gotten one of the new 2024 Tacomas with the hybrid setup, I probably would have. BUT... the price was right on my JT (the 15% discount plus another $10k off at the dealer), and I am SUPER happy with this thing. I love everything about it.
I've seen posts by...
Can't flip them over, actually. In fact now that I think about it, there ARE separate L/R rails... at the rear-end of each rail is a metal tab with a hole that is designed to be screwed into an insert that you put into a hole... here it's easier to just include photos.
I bought this kit on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C7FLCCMC?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
It seems to be of decent quality.
I went to install it. The rails for the RH side and the front of the bed installed just fine. No issues. But on the LH side (driver's side), the...
Simple question... can you put a Tru-Trac in the front diff? And... does it work well both on and off-road. Of course this is a non-Rubicon JT with the D44 front diff (3.73).

IDIOT ALERT! IDIOT ALERT! Original Poster is an Idiot!
So.... it never occurred to me that the top part of that button was press-able. I thought it was just the graphic advertising that it was the headlight button. So I never tried to press it. It also never occurred to me that they'd...
Wow, great suggestions, thank you. As it is winter here, cold, windy, potential snow, I'm going to let the dealer have another go at it before I do that. Kinda defeats the purpose of having a new vehicle with a warranty. If it was my WJ, it'd be different...
Thanks!! You guys are great.
So... the connector is plugged in. I checked the two fuses and they're good. When I push the fog light button on the headlight switch, the little fog light indicator in the tach lights up. So that suggests the switch is good.
Therefore... I'm guessing either a...
This may sound like a silly topic, but read on, it gets better. I got my Gladiator Willys on 12/24/23. The fog lights haven't worked at all. Yesterday was my first oil change (1000 miles), and I asked the dealer (I get free oil changes for as long as I own it) to look into the fog lights...
Thanks!! I was about ready to order the Rebel Offroad ones but they want $45 shipping when other places are free. I'll keep looking a little longer. Don't have to have them THIS minute.
My Gladiator didn't come with the "Trail Rails." After reading up about them, I have decided I want a set. I've found several aftermarket options... Terraflex, Red Rock, even several on Amazon (the cheapest by far at around $150-200). Did I miss any? I'm wondering if one set might be better...
As bad as I'd love to have a new RAM, I keep hearing these horror stories about them. I'm so glad I still have my 2005 (bought in 2007)... only 160k on it.
Yep, it's not just a truck, it's a real truck -- solid axles on both ends! My point is that the other trucks in the segment, like the Colorado and Ranger, are IFS and much "nicer" to live with (their words). But there are still plenty of people that want solid axles. Hell look at all the...
