  5. Here we go again !! Jeep - 0, Diesel Fuel Pump - 2

There is no doubt it is poor quality fuel! The EPA made them take all the lubricating properties out of it. If you aren’t putting some back in, you will lose the pumps…
  6. Opinion on trading 2022 JTR for 21 JTRD

Didn’t catch your driving route. You should have a bottle of 911 and or the white bottle of Kleen. I use 2 cycle oil in the diesel, to lubricate the pump. One ounce 2cyl to one gallon diesel. The Walmart 2cyl oil works fine. Don’t run your diesel fuel without a lubricant in...
  7. Opinion on trading 2022 JTR for 21 JTRD

I burn heating oil, mixed with 1oz of 2cyl oil per gal. The ultra-low-sulphur, diesel fuel is too dry, to lube the pump. Heating oil is a dollar less a gallon
  8. Opinion on trading 2022 JTR for 21 JTRD

I bought the last of the 23 JTRDs. The odometer is just over 10K. Fully deleted, EOC #2 Tow. Setup with a Smartcap / RTT Replaced the front bumper and installed a 10s winch. So the Jeep is heavier than stock. The power and fuel economy is phenomenal. I did all the work myself and deleted it...

  11. Cold Start Issues 22 Ecodiesel

I maintain 11 batteries (just my stuff) in Interior Alaska, ATVs, snowmachines, cars, trucks and airplanes!!! The last few years, there has been a big drop off in the quality of lead acid batteries. Also de sulfating the batteries only works until the bottom of the plates short out. My big...
  12. Cold Start Issues 22 Ecodiesel

My aux battery died in 1 1/2 years. That was the life span of a new factory battery - to would not hold a charge anymore. I deleted it late last summer. My main battery, which I also bought a replacement for, decided to come back to life…I run a battery heat pad (60W) under the main battery, I...

  14. 392 V8 Engine Swap is In and Running!! (2023 Gladiator Mojave)

Use the diesel ZF 8HP75, somewhere around a 555 torque rating…my deleted diesel is turning out more than 500lbs of torque and the transmission is solid. What is the torque out of the 392?
  15. Cold Start Issues 22 Ecodiesel

What was the temperature? You can warm things up with electric heaters if you have to. Throw an old blanket over the hood to help keep the heat in.
  16. Front bumper options - pretty specific

I didn’t watch the video, that is one ugly bumper you got there. I put the aluminum MP Concepts front bumper on mine, for a winch bumper. Got rid of the factory plastic one.
  17. Dilemna on tires…

I’ve only put 10K on the OEM Falken AT3, they are a good tire (snow and rain), no complaints…23 JTRD however the last BFGs (KO2s), I put on my Dodge 2500, diesel, all leaked! The Coopers I replaced them with - on the same wheels, have never leaked! I won’t be buying any more BFGs
  18. Battery charger, maintainer and propper use

Did you read this part of the user manual? “This product is designed to work in ambient temperatures between -4° F and 104° F (do not operate outside of these temperatures”!!!!) *this is why they don’t work in Alaska. Some of the Northern States and most of Canada*
  19. Helpin the 3.0 breath
