  1. Service electronic throttle control on 3.0 eco diesel

Whelp, seems there weren't any stored codes, just the lit CELs so there wasn't much the tech could do aside from clearing things out. He was aware of the issue, but said there doesn't seem to be enough data on it in the community to figure out what's going on. Fingers cross for the trip home...
  2. Service electronic throttle control on 3.0 eco diesel

Awesome, really appreciate the reply! Unfortunately it won't be my dealer, but illI be sure to chat with the tech
  3. Service electronic throttle control on 3.0 eco diesel

Sorry for the necro post y'all, just hoping you might have some favorable news to share. We finally made it to our destination, but the frustration and uncertainty have definitely impacted the experience 😂. Appreciate any feedback you might be able to share!
  4. Service electronic throttle control on 3.0 eco diesel

Were any of you able to resolve the issue? Just happened to me on the annual family road trip up the East coast. Towing our TT, ~4,500 lbs., made it to the foothills and then the lights (service etc and service esc) and limp mode. I was able to nurse it along to our waypoint in PA, but still...
  5. Show us what camper / trailer / RV you're towing with your JT

Thanks for the additional recommendation! IMO these look much better than the Rampage setup. Ill probably go ahead and pick them up before my next trip out.
  6. Show us what camper / trailer / RV you're towing with your JT

How are the Euro mirrors working out? I hate not being able to see the top of my travel trailer (and fisheye side view like a proper tow mirror) easily when I want to and have debated on installing the small convex add-on mirrors (in addition to my already add-on Rampage mirrors). I see they're...
  7. Rubicon suspension installed on a sport

 True, though these days one might think we're all in different countries, but I digress. We're currently in the deep SE (GA), and while I tend to leverage any excuse possible for a good road trip, I'm not sure I could talk the crew into a 2,400+ mile round-trip if it didn't include a...
  8. Rubicon suspension installed on a sport

If one of you were closer, I'd take them off your hands and give them a go. I'd like to get just a smidgen more firmness when towing but not looking to lift anytime soon as my wallet is going to need some recovery time before I go digging myself another financial hole
  9. So, what is everybody towing?

2024 Jayco Jay Feather Micro 171BH. Just picked her up. Haven't ran by scales yet for exact numbers but tongue weight looks to be right around ~485lbs (2 20# tanks and a battery) based on the weight safe hitch. I'll update once I get the family loaded up and hit the scales.
  10. I’m having trouble with payload for a RV, help?

We just purchased a Jayco Micro 171BH. They were out of the hitch I wanted so no pictures yet but will get those up on the camper thread asap. I spent countless hours reviewing just about every travel trailer option available to us while staying within a safe weight range. We're a family of 4...
  11. Venturous Topper Installed

Looks great, thank you for posting!
  12. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

Awesome, thank you so much! I don't want to crest 600lbs loaded up (dry), so that's very helpful. I know the newer versions are a little heavier but that should be enough headroom overall. We like the chaise design as well, it's definitely a fresh take on the space and seems like a great...
  13. Towed new 4300lb camper in 30-50mph winds

Nice setup, congratulations! And thank you so much for posting your experience. We're about ready to get a TT as well and the NoBo 19.8 is on our short list, along with the Jay Feather Micro 171 and Surveyor Legend 19BHLE. Each has some pros/cons, but ultimately I think any of the three will...
