I’m about to do a diff. Service, I run stock wheels and tires on my rubicon 4 months of winter and run 35” NITTO trail grapplers on black rhino arsenal wheels the other 8 months. Should I upgrade my gear oil to the 75w140 or is the 75w85 ok? I don’t off road excessively or tow. Thanks
I set the anchor mode and tried to pull a small boxwood stump with the winch and it started to drag the jeep so I immediately stopped, didn’t want to damage the parking pawl.
Don’t confuse brake hold with anchor, they two different modes. Brake hold will apply and hold brakes when shifting to drive and holding the brakes for a few seconds and releases when pressing accelerator.
I do have the taser mini installed, I had no other lights indicating that the axles were locked other than the off road mechanical page showed them in the locked position. I’m just wondering if there was an error with that page or have I been driving with axles locked.
I pulled up the off road pages just for fun. I was in 2H and the mechanical page said both axles were locked. I had to try all sorts of combinations of 4H and 4L turn lockers on and off shift to 2H before they showed as unlocked on the page. I did notice that after going to 4L then locking both...
