Ford, fix or repair daily. Ford , found on road dead. I was never fond of Fords, even owning two. 1981 Bronco, was never as good as my 1979 GMC jimmy. 75 F-150 , pos. never as good as my 1968 Chevy .
I do this now also. I drive an average of 700 miles a month. I picked up a good agm charger and maintainer. I charge it once or twice a month. I leased mine 17 months ago, and have 22 months left on the lease. I'm trying to make the batteries last till then, hopefully I can give Chrysler back...
I had full lenght tube rails put on mine, the rock rails were removed. I like the tube step rails better. They protect my Glad from people opening there doos and hitting my Glad. There door would hit the tube steps first damaging there door.
Question. In my old 2012 Jeep Liberty 4 x 4 I turned the TC off when I took her on the beach in 4 H for fishing. I do the same with the 2023 Glad gas job auto trans. Should I continue to turn TC off when driving in the beach sand or leave it on. I use 4H for the beach and lower the tire psi to...
I grew up in L.I.New york. I remember as a kid my father always was waxing his bumpers on his cars. After a few years they would get some pitting on the chrome bumper, and they used some heavy chroming those days. Coke or Pepsi would clean it off. We lived 8 to 10 miles from the ocean.
I run 87 octaine in my 2023 Glad. No problems, no pinging. When cold and just taking off the truck will jerk slightly then runs smooth the rest of the day. Trns shifts smooth. I'm no tech, but I wouldn't waste my money on a Higher octain fuel .
If it has an add on sticker, tell them to take it off. There BS. This is why some dealers have a 300 day supply of inventory. Tell them you will take the truck that day ,if they don't walk. Most dealers won't let a today buyer walk .
Mine starts at 14.5 when first started, then as I make my stops it drops to 14.4 then next stop 14.2 . I took it to the dealer for a battery check, I left the Glad overnight for them, they said the batteries are good and charging properly. They fixed some other things also. I feel they may be...
Not draging , just made a click noise when you let foot off the brake when taking off in the morning. I never noticed a problem with the brakes, It's what the dealer said, brakes always worked great. Dealer said the brakes where ok, they just wanted to apply some grease . MPG is 16 in town, and...
PaPa , you won't believe what happened. I lucked out. I get a call back from the service dept. There is nothing wrong with my trans, the service tech reported on another Glad he was checking out. Mine had no codes, engine or trans. Just needed grease on the front brake calipers. Drive line was...
I dropped my Glad off Sunday night at the Jeep dealer. They said the tranny needs a modual for the torque convertor to stop it from clunkung in reverse or drive. They have to order the part. I have to call them back to see how long it will take to get part and fix the POS. All my years of owning...
Remember, they will not burp everytime. I can go 1 to 2 fill ups with no burping, then a few in a row. Unless I hold the hose and stop it before it tops off.
You don't have to round up for a Jeep to burp gas. It can happen at any time filling when it gets close to full. Jeep has had this problem for a long time .
This ^^^ I have to hold the nozzle all the way in and hold it up, and listen for when it gets to the top. It's a pain but it works. My Glad won't spit fuel all the time. But I filled up a few months ago at a Shell station that had the new rubber boots , that fit completly around the fill pipe...
That's why I leased my 2023 Glad. so far no problem. But when the lease is up so is Jeep, unless they have a better set up. I don't like driving a time bomb, maybe nothing will happen or it will. At 75 years old I don't like that. Jeep is BS for not getting the parts fast enough. Stellantis...
