Thank you for your responses. I obviously don't drive much, but when I do, its a long distance back to the North Country. Always looking for a little piece of mind in the wisdom of others. Thank you.
I'm an old man who has cranked wrenches to make things work with out knowing the book smarts as to why. I have great respect for those who have acquired that knowledge and are willing to share with others. Thank you.
So, lets get to the bottom line. I have a 2023 Gladiator with 7700 miles. Is...
I think I'll pass on that one. There are thousands of 3.6's out there with thousands of miles and no Baxter's installed. I'm sure they are probably worth it, but there is no clear proof.
ShadowPapa, you take that Javelin out for a spin lately?
If you were to install the Baxter and the cam did go. Would it affect the warranty? I know you can take it off. But if your rig just died and you had to have it towed to the dealership. Then what?
I'm in Pa. as well. I purchased a kit from Best Top, which contains a soft top cleaner and protectant as well as a cleaner for the vinyl window. Used it twice a year and no problems. Good luck..
You can find a guy on U-tube. I believe he can be found under "Rubiator Outdoors". Each item in the Mopar kit has a part number. He ordered diesel springs to support the weigh of his cap and overland gear. It actually came out cheaper than a boxed kit. Check it out
You had previously asked for...
Nice Gladiator. Did the same with my 2023 Sport. Mopar 2 inch w/fox shocks is a good kit, I added JKS front adjustable track bar, 1 inch carrier bearing drop down kit, and Fox front steering stabilizer.
Safe travels....
The notice said that at this point there was not remedy for this condition.
I gave Mopar a call and told them the situation. They intern took down my information and gave me a case number. They also said they would contact me when a remedy is available.
It wouldn't hurt to reach out to them...
Thanks for the heads up. Gives me a little peace of mind knowing I can still get it home.
I just re-read the notice and it specifically mentions the 3.5" screens.
They should be able to do something for you.
You can also try nylon washers, they have enough give to absorb vibration and any type of flex. Also as was said, if you holes are too small the plastic cracks even before the install.
