No regrets here. Coming from a few lifted F150's and Silverado's, the Mojave handles like a dream. Those lifted trucks looked great and all, but non lifted they sat so low to the ground they'd scrape everywhere I went. The lift kits certainly didn't make them ride or handle any better. This...
I went with the Quadratec steel winch bumper. I thought about the aluminum version but the price was right on the steel bumper. It was about a 4 hour uninstall of the plastic bumper and install of the new one. Had to notch the skid plate slightly but the cordless peanut grinder made quick work...
So I recently purchased a new 22 Mojave a few weeks ago and it took a little getting used to in the street because the steering is so responsive compared to the full size pickups of my past. I am extremely happy with the handling on the street.
Now for the good part, which is why I chose the...
That goes with any bike. The key words capable rider. How bout we meet in Sturgis next month and go for a ride? Lots of great places to ride once we get away from all the mayhem. 😉
A couple things I'm aware of other than the obvious made to accessorize, there are a couple that cross over to both brands, I mentioned JW Speaker. There's another for the Mojave owners. I installed RWD adjustable piggyback reservoir shocks on my Streetglide ST. Well these shocks come from Russ...
I own a 22 SGST and have sunk over 6 g's in it thus far. And gonna do a Stage 2 soon. I've had my Mojave for 3 weeks and spent over a grand so far. When I found out JW Speaker also makes the Daymaker headlight on my bike, guess what's coming next? There goes another grand. Good thing I've...
Alot of great info here and I appreciate the feedback. I went with the rope option from QT and the QT winch bumper. It looks like its all plug and play. I've read some have had to slightly trim the skid plate to get the bumper on and others who didn't. I'll find out soon enough.
Didn't know where to put this, so here it is. Interested in a quality winch rated at 10k. And pro's and cons of synthetic rope v cable, and more importantly, your experience with either or both.
Will do! Thanks Hunter! My primary use will not only be driving on the street on weekends when I'm not riding my motorsickle, but for hunting, scouting, camping and going to the lake. I already love the way this thing rides and handles compared to the Silverado I had!
I just traded a 22 lifted Silerado RST with 18k + miles on it after having the warranty work done. Right side lifters collapsed. Had 2 other warranty electrical issues repaired as well. Hopefully I won't have any issues with the Mojave.
Well and you can see what my list was on the other post that make my top list. The performance for what I do is the most important aspect, as well as being prepared for the unexpected
I've got the high torque Milwaukee Impact wrench. It will definitely come along. I was also thinking about throwing my cordless Dewalt chainsaw in for fallen trees across the forest roads like I've encountered in the past and had to turn around
My intended use will be for my hunting/scouting trips, camping, towing my small fishing boat to the lake, and some exploring new off road trails. And everyday driving. Right now I have a few right off the bat.
* headlights
* bumper w/winch
* tow package
* storage system for all my camping and...
