Some of the tools that were very useful are pb blaster, 17mm crows foot, wobble ext's and remove the hangers from the frame.

Did you uncheck the box to verify the checksum?

So I reverted the GDE tune to stock for the pcm and trans tunes and did the same clone with the stock files and same result (engine start then shut off). Is there a trick that I am missing? I verified that the stock files wrote to the cloned pcm.

Are the PCM and trans tunes independent? I have a GDE PCM and trans tune and I ordered an EOC stage 2 tune. I would like to use the GDE trans tune with the EOC stage 2 tune. I have read most of the threads regarding the GDE and EOC tunes but have not yet found anyone mixing tunes.

I was able to download and write the GDE file but it didn't work when I swapped to the cloned pcm. The engine started then shut after throwing a couple codes. I didn't have time to take note of the codes.

I used the 12" straight jaw "channel locks" to twist the nozzle. I tried the curved jaws and no joy. Then pry the nozzle out w/ a flat screwdriver. I tapped the nozzle back into place. Like others noted it's about a 5 minute mod.

I put in the GDE tune and it's a great tune if you have to keep the stock hardware. I am switching to stage 2 to help with long term maintenance.

I did the same to the diesel and remember to use the shims if needed. I installed the pax side 3x before I remembered there are shims.

I bought the LOD destoyers and they are frame mount. I have not installed or tested them. I looked at the RC too and decided the function and features of the LOD are worth the $400 price difference. Northridge 4x has a really good price right now.

This is really a thing. I almost tossed the black funnel in the trash because it looks like garbage. Why would Jeep to block the fuel filler? I can believe to prevent filling with gas but the flap jams shut and one cannot insert the diesel nozzle.
