  1. Anyone tried seat jackers?

I'm 6'5 and bought the slammers. They are brilliant. So comfortable, better viewing of traffic lights. Highly reccomended if the slammers or washers are not enough.

  3. Carplay VSS

My 2021 had a similar issue. It limited the number of songs/playlists I could access in wired CarPlay Spotify. It also wouldn’t let you use a keyboard to search in Apple Maps. I got a wireless CarPlay dongle off Amazon that solved both issues. It has a few quirks but much better than wired. If...
  4. Anyone seen this article? Interesting..

I owned a BMW E30 convertible that was super reliable. Had it for 15 years, easy maintenance and not much of it. We did have a newer X3 that was a different story altogether! All under warranty but the bills that thing racked up were ridiculous.

  6. UI screen possessed by Satan

I have not heard of that one. Is there any moisture on the screen? Grease? Make sure it is clean and dry and if it continues it may be a bad touch screen. Is it still under warranty?

Thanks Rusty, I'll check and see if ours does too.
  8. Low Ash Oil That Meets Spec?

I appreciate all your input. I live on an island and our tiny highways are not fast enough for manual regen so low ash is important to me. I drive them like a crazy person but it seems that is not enough. It sounds like to Shell Rotella and Mobil ESP are both solid choices. All the best and...
  9. Low Ash Oil That Meets Spec?

Thanks for the input UT! While that looks like a tempting choice, it looks like that one does not meet spec. From the gladiator diesel oil thread re Rotella T6 “I personally contacted Shell to verify. They said they do not have an oil that meets the MS-12991 spec nor do they have future plans...
  10. Low Ash Oil That Meets Spec?

Hi Everyone, Anyone found any low ash or ESP (emissions system protections) oil that meets OEM recommendations? I guess they are designed to decrease regens. We have Penzoil Platinum Euro 5w40 in my area that is well regarded on the forum, but their website does not mention anything regarding...

  15. Opinions: bed cover options?

I installed weatherstripping at the front of my Mopar Tri-fold.. got it off Facebook marketplace for 25% of retail. Then I went to Home Depot and bought an outdoor carpet and cut it to fit. If any water got on it, it would drain through the membrane of the carpet so anything you put on the...

Thanks for your help everyone. So the blue driver and Veepeak adaptors are on their way back to Amazon and a scan gauge 2 is inbound. Hopefully that will simplify things a little. Thanks to everyone for your input and assistance, really excited about this vehicle. JM
  19. DPF Erroneously Showing 100% ??

Man.. so it sounds like we need to spring for the expensive products to solve this. Are there any wired old school readers that can accurately report DPF? I see a bunch on Amazon for under $50.. anyone have any positive experiences of these cheap readers working well? Thanks in advance, JM
