Thanks for your help everyone. So the blue driver and Veepeak adaptors are on their way back to Amazon and a scan gauge 2 is inbound. Hopefully that will simplify things a little. Thanks to everyone for your input and assistance, really excited about this vehicle. JM

Thanks for this. I bet that is my problem. Pretty sure I'm looking at Soot Load %.

I gave the Banks iDash and when I first set up the gauge set, I was reading 100% too. However that was the wrong selection to monitor. When your engine is working it’s at 100% in that one measurement. I found the correct one to monitor after done fiddling around and even set up the alert to notify of regen starting and stopping. Perhaps you all are on the wrong setting too?
DPF SL % (Soot Level, Not DPF Soot Load %) is the correct setting and if I recall there’s a couple selections that aren’t clearly distinguished. And my DPF Distance is low cause I’ve got a fucked sensor and waiting on parts!

Yeah there really isn’t clear explicit instructions for setting up your iDash. I did find this and it was helpful to navigate these selections! Your Welcome for those have not found this yet, it definitely helped me!

Hi Everyone, quick update from OP. Scanguage installed works great and reporting DPF accurately. Thank you all for your help.

I have the scanguage2 also and like the way it allows me to know when I'm approaching 80% soot on the dpf.
FYI- The AlphaObd app ($50) will allow you to do a forced regen (both moving or stationary) if necessary.

I am an Apple guy for work purposes, but Alpha looks like a good option.

I'm also an Apple guy due to work. I'm using my old Galaxy S10 for Alfaobd.

Was that your issue? Did my info help with your readings?
I just installed a Banks iDash yesterday. That seems to be working much better minus the manic regen status between off and passive.

It does appear my OBDFusion was set to the wrong attribute, but I haven't tested the other live.

Oh shit, not to worry you… My truck was showing a bit of a manic regen status, showing Regen, Passive, Regen, Passive… now I’ve had the DPF Sensor replaced, and they’ve ordered a N0X sensor and new DPF Filter, approximately $4,000 CAD in warranty parts and no idea how much $$$ in labor. Is your iDash flashing bask n forth and your DPF % filling up to max super fast?

Depending on engine load. My iDash will flash between pass/regen all the time. Until the SL% gets to about 75%. Then it's a solid pass until it drops to 9%.

Interesting. I only installed my iDash in August, and it didn’t show that, flashing back and forth, until the DPF filter fucked up during the last 5-6 weeks.

No, luckily my DPF% goes down. I've read other posts about it and it seems to be the norm after a particular Banks firmware version.
