While I'm new to flat-towing (JT is my first), I've been working on and pulling Jeeps around the country for ~25 years. I did my flat-tow install myself as well, just takes time and patience. AirForce One deal with tapping into air brakes on coach, just gotta do a lot of reading and ask...
I setup my JT Willys for flat tow with the stock bumper, stuck everything under it, went Roadmaster and AirForce One for just about everything. Curt for the diode based light harness I think was the only exception. Tows like a dream...
Other two of our rigs (whichever one we're taking)...
Yep, we've got a couple in the family currently: '01 TJ on tons, '12 JKUR, '13 JK and '18 JKU. The '01 and the '12 get used, the other 2 JKs are our daughter's daily drivers. We must have raised em right. :)

I still like my old TJ, 117:1 crawl ratio, three pedals, Dana60/70 front, Dana60 rear, 40" Iroks and 14" travel coilovers. I've still done trails that give it a challenge.
I've also put my wife's JKUR on 35"s places it probably shouldn't have been. It's all what you're comfortable with and...
I've ran 4 sets of duratracs well past 40k, 2 sets over 80k, worked quite well in snow up till the last year. The 80k sets were load range e on a Ram 2500 diesel.

I have a blue-ox sway-pro I'm wanting to sell. 2-5/16 ball, 1200 lb bars, you would obviously need lighter bars.
I used to have a real pickup and the new motorhome has 21k towing w/o weight distribution and my only trailer won't work with weight distribution anyway.

Digging into this further I see reference to rigs w/o navigation. The ones with built-in navigation the telematic device may likely be built within stereo head-unit. I do not have nav on my '24 Gladiator, maybe that is the difference here.. Keep in mind there were a fair amount of interior...
PCM swap/unlock has been required on the Jeeps since I think 2020. My 2015 and 2016 Challengers also required PCM unlock due to them being encrypted, Jeep is likely due to same reason.

I'd be interested in part# for pods that allow the 5.25 or 6.5 speakers in 2024 soundbar, assuming that was the item that comes with new grills too?
Thanks,
Jim
My Willys went perfectly level with the 1.5" teraflex spacers I put up front. I've since added firestone bags in the rear and run with them at 5psi. Still sits level and I can boost up the rear end if I need to haul something with some weight. It also rides more like a 'truck' IMO, it was...
Just throwing out there, not all 1-ton axles need 20" wheels. My solid manufactured crate axles are most definitely 1-ton, they're 40 spline axles, 8 lug and my 17" walker evans wheels fit just fine with the chevy brakes. Is it a frankenstein Jeep, absolutely, does it usually go where I ask...
We've had a few...
1998 TJ Sport (mine), 2004 WJ Laredo (wife's), 2001 TJ Sport (mine), 2010 MK74 (oldest daughters), 2012 JKU Rubicon (wife's), 2013 JK Sport (youngest daughters), 2024 JT Willys (mine).
Only ones we don't still have are the '98 TJ, and the '04 WJ.

Yep, that's why I burned down my wife's stock rubi tires and we put 100k on the stock parts. I couldn't bring myself to just throw all that stuff away.
Completely a fan of replace what is necessary as it's necessary. Or, if you're going nuts with a build, lineup someone else that can benefit...
FYI, head that direction with a Jeep and you'll need to Just Empty Every Pocket first...
You've been warned.
In all seriousness, 40s is what started the rollercoaster with my TJ, wheels, coilovers, stretch, lift, axles, brakes, full hydro, belly-up, 3-spd stak, bodylift to clear stak, new...
