TPMS agitating. When I bought my used Gladiator I replaced all 4. 2 months later front left goes out. Repair shop said water intrusion. Not certain how that happened, I'm not a tire guy. I did go through some good rain and puddles but isn't that "what we do"? Fast forward, 4 months later...
Follow up results. The repair shop deemed the main battery was bad. Unfortunately I did not ask if they checked the small battery. I did ask if they checked the age of the battery but they didn't. So, I roll on, keeping an eye out on that voltage. I'm back in the US now so when I return...
Thanks for the feedback from all. I don't have a lot of answers relative to my understanding tires, rims, mechanics in general. All I can offer is the repair shop gave me the sensor and showed me the corrosion on it relative to their explanation of the effect, it got wet, shorted out the...
I think I know the answer but it's best to ask. Heavy rain here in Panama. Went through a big puddle, umm that's what these rides are built to do. One of my TPMS modules goes down. Alert is up, check tire pressure. All is good there. I'm thinking damn I just had these replaced 4 months ago...
Now I got bit. 2020 Gladiator Rubicon, got up yesterday, went to start up and no go. A couple short cranks but no go. Waited, thought a minute what next and tried again, It started! Hmm, well I didn't take it for granted as a fluke but it ran well through the day. Went here, went there...
Congrats! I've Owned mine for about 2 months. It stays in Panama City Panama. I only visit 1 week a month from the US for now. But it gives me motivation to drive it when I am there. It's a good feeling. Good drivn!
In Panama the "Gladiator" is a unicorn. I've seen 3 in 2 years. Not only is it fun to ramble through the city, I know it draws attention. Looking forward to taking to the mountains.
When I left the country I put the vehicle in service for the items that were deemed in need of attention when I had it inspected before purchase. I asked them to determine if possible to identify the gearing ratio. The repairs are done. When I asked if they did the gearing check they didn't...
Good mention. Im driving in Panama. I didn't convert the digital on the dash from KM to MPH but I was watching my GPS and it "seemed" to be tracking. I Only took to the highway a couple short runs and didn't dig deep but that's what I deducted, it seemed calibrated. I'm back in USA now, so...
