I just wanted to give an update. It took almost two months. But I have my Jeep back. It has a whole new front axle and I now have an extended warranty through Mopar.
It seems okay, except for the steering wheel is crooked now. So I have an appointment at the dealership for an alignment.
I am...
Okay so I found this thread. This is my Jeepās setup I think. Does anyone know where I can find receiver hitch (class iii) that bolts on? I have only been able to find aftermarket ones.

Okay, so I do have a question. Does the middle section, where the receiver bolts on? Because it appears I have the crossbar already but am missing only the receiver section? This is where I am confused.
I have a 2021 Rubicon. I bought it with around 50,000 miles. I want to tow a casita trailer with it, around 2000 lbs, but I canāt figure out the hitch situation. There appears to be a place to bolt on a hitch receiver, but I canāt identify the OEM part and am not sure what class it would be. I...
Yes, that completely makes sense. I think what confused me was that I was actually inquiring about having the winch installed at the Jeep dealership. But the issue could be that it is not technically a Jeep part and just wanted me to know it could be an issue.
Yeah I know the aux battery is not the same as a dual battery⦠I was just mentioning them because it is not unheard of to have multiple batteries for whatever purposes.
But yeah I would have help installing the battery.
And Yes, and I wondered the same about adding another battery⦠isnāt that...
He was sort of vague about it, but I was asking about having it installed at the dealership so I assumed he meant even a proper connection could void it.
I donāt know⦠I know sometimes people rig up a dual battery⦠Iām guessing to run things like compressors? We had a dodge diesel that had two batteries. And I guess the gladiator already has one extra aux battery, but I wouldnāt want to mess with that.
I was thinking it could be stored in the...
Also, I guess I should have said that I had thought of rigging a way to hook the winch up so I could disconnect it from the battery when I wasnāt using it. Also thought his battery could run a compressor as well.
Yes. I thought of pushing back in it⦠going to another dealership to have them wire the winch. I am not sure I buy it.
The guy who told me this also said that an off road bumper would void the warranty because itās too heavy. I made a face and told him I had the Rubicon. He said it would be...
The dealership is doing to some warranty work on my new to me rubicon gladiator. After that is done I want to install the off road front bumper with a winch set up.
The service rep said there can be some problems with wiring up a winch that could affect the warranty. I want to keep the warranty...
Did you get this resolved? I just went through a thing with CarMax. My gladiator had an issue with the front axle. They ended up taking it to the Jeep dealership and I am waiting on a new axle to come in. My problem only occurred in 4W drive so I was about 70 days into my warranty period before...
I talked to the dealership when I picked up my stuff. It was aways the plan to replace front axle. It was just being called the diff assembly at times and maybe the CarMax guy didnāt know that meant the whole front axle, because why wouldnāt he tell me when I kept asking if they would also check...
I called Customer Service at Jeep and they gave me the part and order number. They are replacing the whole front axle, not just the front differential.
I am not sure if something changed or there was a miscommunication.
They were very helpful and said it is perfectly okay to call them or...
