I have weathertechs in my ford explorer and they are a little loose fitting around the edges and have warped out of place over the years. the material is so thin I think the FL sun distorts it. I was looking for something a little thicker and more substantial.
I have just over 200 miles on my Gladiator and have been using these straps for exactly this purpose. it cuts down on wind noise and top flap at highway speeds. what else would you do with them? Now I'm curious. I've seen a guy with his rear window rolled up into them but it didn't seem right...
Thanks, not really looking for something permanent though or something that covers the whole bed, plus the longer boards would still hang way over the tailgate, just up higher. And yeah if I had the hard top I'd just slap some Thules on it and call it a day but the soft top was half the reason I...
Any fabricators out there?
Looking for a way to haul my wife's paddleboard and my surfboards without pulling the back panel on the soft top and passing them through. I used to have this type or rack on several of my pickups growing up and wondered if anyone has or has seen something like this...

Much to do to her but just had the Rhino...
Thanks, not an issue here in FL, But it won't match my doors at 20%. Hmm, I wonder if there is an aftermarket replacement? I'll have to do some research on that I guess.
I'm looking to tint my rear window as well. It makes a big difference here in FL. But all my local shops said they won't do it, something about the 3M adhesive being corrosive to plastic. Has anyone found a solution or replaced their back panel for one with a tinted window and have pictures, or...
Good to know, I was actually looking at one from Canada, although after spending too much time reading posts on this forum I'm actually looking at getting a Tacoma now. Two kids in college makes me want something more reliable. Might just go back to a CJ for my fun vehicle. At least I know what...
