So ended up not working. BUT i just got a new iphone 17 and it doesn't skip anymore. Maybe it was just phone compatibility. Anyways, it's fixed.

So I finally had some time to contact customer care. They had me hold the power/volume button down to do a radio, not factory, reset. I THINK it worked! I played a song, and a short bit of audio book, and I didn't have any skips. I'll know better once I get to driving again but hopefully no more...

So since i've gotten my jeep every song(amazon music) or chapter(audiobook) skips for just a second about 30 sec or so into either. It happens EVERY song/chapter. I've been dealing with it but now it's aggravating. I would like to know if anybody has experienced the same issue before I take it...
