2025 Jeep Gladiator - Music/Books cut out 30sec in to EVERY song/chapter.

So since i've gotten my jeep every song(amazon music) or chapter(audiobook) skips for just a second about 30 sec or so into either. It happens EVERY song/chapter. I've been dealing with it but now it's aggravating. I would like to know if anybody has experienced the same issue before I take it to the dealership and if there is a simple fix. I'm connected via Uconnect wirelessly.

I have a 21 that does the same. I don't know if I've spent as much time paying attention to it as you have but it happens. Using a Pixel 8 listening to Spotify, because that's what auto starts when I plug in. I have never measured time but when I pull out of the driveway and reach the corner (about 6 houses) it seems to "skip" for a second. Same spot every time. I have an errand to run after work today so I will pay attention while driving in the other direction

lol same as me! same spots every time i crank her up and start driving.

I had a '21 rubicon with the base radio 7" screenand it played mp3, WMA no problem. 64 gig usb worked good took a while (~1 min) to read before browsing. Recently got a '25 rubicon X and it sees 82 tracks out of ~11,000 on the usb drive. I tried saving files as different formats and that didn't work. So still trying to figure it out.

I have the very laughable "premium sound" with the larger touch screen and subwoofer behind the rear seat.
I hate to say it but I left out of the driveway in the other direction and it didn't do it. Probably because I was waiting for it. When I think back, I have had this issue more often than not.
I have also never been able to get a thumb drive to work properly. I have tried different brands and several different methods and programs to load said stick. Music salad every time. Never happens in other vehicles. Premium = junk.

So I finally had some time to contact customer care. They had me hold the power/volume button down to do a radio, not factory, reset. I THINK it worked! I played a song, and a short bit of audio book, and I didn't have any skips. I'll know better once I get to driving again but hopefully no more skips! Thanks Blair.

So ended up not working. BUT i just got a new iphone 17 and it doesn't skip anymore. Maybe it was just phone compatibility. Anyways, it's fixed.
