My backlash is .004-.007 for revolution gears and mine is at .004 to .005 hard to get accuracy.

Didn’t take a photo of pinion probably could have gone another .003 deeper on depth. Bring that shallow in center.

Thanks the drive side is center but little closer to the toe as far as I can see. I tried to put my hand for drag. I should have thinned out the marking compound more. Thanks for the confirmation!!!

I did my first setup on my first set of gears. Changed all bearing and got lucky had to only change pinion depth used original stock shim sizes for carrier.

Sorry forgot to add, 3.5 lift RC only do road and light sand trails nothing serious. 35x12.50x20 tires lock wheels Revolution 4.88 gears plan to go to 37” tires. Teraflex front and rear differential covers 1” drive shaft drop geometry fix rear axle and front control arm brackets.
