    UPDATE ON Earlier post My 2021 JT with 3.6 now consistently gets 22.5-23 mpg. combined back road and interstate @80 mph. But the Brick TJ only 15-16 mpg.

    WOW. After reading all the horror stories about changing batteries I went to the Jeep dealership. For a total of $617, both batteries replaced, guaranteed to be done right. Figure $420 for batteries at Sams Club, my peace of mind was under $200. Best investment in years.

    Nope, and I buy from Costco, Wal-Mart, and Fast-Stop. No issue on.any of my 3 jeeps.

    I have 3 and mileage varies from 16 to 23 2001 TJ , 4" lift 12.50 33r15 @16 2012 JGC Overland 3.6l with 5 speed auto @23+ 2021 JT gladiator 3.6l with 8 speed auto @19+ All different, but AVERAGE of - - - 19 MPG
  5. Dreaded Stop/Start unavailable message-both batteries replaced last year.

    My 2021 has that stop/start message, has had it since September when I left it in accessory mode while towing behind my motor home for 2 days and the batteries died. It gives me no issues so I have ignored it. My Question: DOES THE OBD II READER Above any fault codes?

    2001 TJ, 2012JGC Overland, easy peasy. Stinking aux battery system, should be like my Ram diesel with 2 real, visible batteries.

    I installed Yokohama Geolander HT 255r70-18 last week, much better but still some hop on bumps, now I will try lowering the air pressure from the 36psi on the door.

    its mostly freeway driving at 75-80. Offroad is not an issue, and we have Many miles of that over the past 45 years of 4 wheeling.

  10. 2020 Gladiator with 76k miles has never had 4WD engaged

    We picked up a 'Virgin" 80th Anniversary edition with 50k, and it had never been in 4WD. It was so stiff that I almost bent the shifter getting it into 4WD the first time. Those gears need to be exercised. Get out there and have fun.

    My DW is complaining about the rough ride on Her 80th Anniversary Gladiator. I have accepted the daunting task of installing the best riding ones . HELP. . Rancho 5000,? Bilsteins? Current Shock Absorber - Mopar (68509241AB).
  12. How do Gladiators handle on the highway?

    I have the 2021 80th anniversary edition with Ironman LT tires on original rims. It runs great at 80 mph on I-40 full of semis. No complaints at all. My JGC with Yokohama passenger tires does feel.a little turbulence, but both are easy drivers.
