I agree all true and very discouraging. But I am still holding out some minimal hope for 2027 model to get a V8 preferably the 392. 2026 model year seems to be done deal no V8. The AMW 89K 392 deal seems somewhat interesting.

I was thinking there is a Wrangler 392 now offered for 60K starting price. Still not a gladiator but could be what the guy was thinking about.

Yea I am not a fan of the looks of the Braptor either. If I wanted a 4dr off-road SUV it would without a doubt be 392 Wrangler not the Braptor.

What do you mean $10k higher. Target of $40K is right in line with starting range of the competition. Ranger is currently mid to high 30s starting MSRPs for 2026. Most on the lots are MSRP mid to high 40s. By 2028 $40K would not be out of line given the typical annual inflation rates.

These guys seem to still think the V8 Gladiator is coming Q4 2026 on the current Gladiator platform. This seems to be a dealer interview from the Dealer show where they got a preview of the new Dakota.

The RAM TRX made its official comeback debut yesterday. Curious if there a 392 Jeep gladiator debut around the corner? Both trucks RAM debuted yesterday were 2027 models. I would sort of expect the same from Jeep at this point if they do give us the 392 Gladiator we have been waiting on.
