Have about 8k miles on it so far but no hiccups (yet), mostly on e85, few tank fulls on 91 when roadtripping then back to full E. No worries about swapping fuels, just stay easy driving it for a few minutes after swapping fuels, and its all automatic to the level of current ethanol mix you have...
Its louder at 3k+ because that seems to be when the VVT and lift rolls in, causing more air induction and more power while holding the intake valves open for longer. My mopar intake pipe that eliminates the resonators is growling at the same range.
Solution? Skinny pedal down!
I run E85 with the livernois tune in CA. 2.99 getting 14mpg a gal vs 5.75 (87) getting 18mpg. Math says i save a lot. If you're thinking about E and have gpec2, don't bother with the eflexfuel kit and just get tuned since it is true flex already, you can fill up with whatever mix of 91/e85 and...
Did the mopar intake and only used elbow to free up space the resonators take up, otherwise stock if someone may want it for that. It goes well with my borla exhaust and the tandem sounds great. Im already full E85 tuned, you will definitely feel that.
I would love the power package of the hurricane 4. Im not consumed by the fear of high stress turbo engines its just that I just dont trust domestic gasoline turbo engines specifically. Other manufactures took many different generations to create their niche, IE toyota hybrid drive, BMW direct...
I get 24mpg at 65-68 mph cruise on with the OEM AT3W 33's and summer blend . Anything over 70 and im dipping to 20-21. We're driving a brick yall
I have no armor or aero killers like racks and lights though. Those can make a huge difference.
Love my falken AT3W's on the gladiator, also run the maxxis razr A/T on my grand cherokee and love those for how quiet they ride and are great in the dry stuff we have out west. I run Kenda's everyone recommends on here, on the CJ and those are the least aggressive A/T, more car like ride then...
