  1. Gladiator trailer tow

The tractor as sitting on the trailer is about 3,700 lbs. Your tractor is lighter. Should not be an issue. But free use of a trailer means more beer fund. Maybe mention to your future father-in-law that you'd be willing to share the bounty of ice cold beer for the use of his trailer...
  2. Gladiator trailer tow

Chris, if you look at the picture in post 28 this is what I did with the U-Haul Toy Hauler trailer (16' bed). Total length of the tractor from front tip of the bucket to rear edge of the blade is 17' 10". Position in this picture put the weight just right for a good tongue weight. Good luck...
  3. Gladiator trailer tow

My vote (fwiw) is half ton. I originally had the thought to tow a smallish 6klbs to 7klbs toy hauler. But the winds are a killer with the Jeep by itself. If I had to deal with the winds across the plains (it's a long way from Kansas to the Rockies), hands down it would be a half ton. That...
  4. Has Anyone Fitted A Standard Whip AM/FM Antenna To the '24-Up Gladiators?

Thanks to @sarguy1941 I did some more searching and found this video. Going to order the oem whip from Jeep, and the extension cable, if needed. Will post back up once this is completed. Might be a few weeks. If someone does this before I post back up. Please post up with your thoughts...
  5. Has Anyone Fitted A Standard Whip AM/FM Antenna To the '24-Up Gladiators?

Same here. Terrible reception. Out here when leaving the house there is just enough reception to suck me into listening. Live stock report, agriculture news, etc.. Then just when it gets juicy... fuzzzzzzzzz. LOL I carry a small Ham talkie that has FM radio. It works all the time...
  6. Has Anyone Fitted A Standard Whip AM/FM Antenna To the '24-Up Gladiators?

Thanks for posting this! 🍻 Please keep us posted on your progress. If it only works half as good as the JK radio reception it would still be a great enhancement! I'm betting it works great. 😎
  7. Has Anyone Fitted A Standard Whip AM/FM Antenna To the '24-Up Gladiators?

'24 and up Gladiator with windshield antenna. Has anyone installed a standard AM/FM whip style antenna? If so, any insight to your install would be sincerely appreciated. Getting really poor reception with this new Windshield antenna in a '25 Gladiator. The OEM whip antenna on my old...
  8. Would you want a powered sliding rear window?

I've got a bit over 40 years of build projects for myself and others. I've also been hired by shops to support their customer projects. Over that time I've learned some easy, and hard lessons regarding parts. This comes from my personal experience, as well as the experience of other...
  9. Would you want a powered sliding rear window?

The slider in my JT gets used almost daily. Kind of a pain in the butt not being able to control the amount of opening from the driver's seat. I'm a fan, but would prefer OEM components for the drive unit. Not off shore aftermarket parts. When trucks went to "crew cab" style, every truck I...
