Interesting. If I would have known that, I might have went for GDE over EOC. But the political winds have shifted from when I first bought. But prolly by the time I get to 15 years or 150,000 the winds might shift again. I probably bought correctly then.
@Vtur I think there is more to the equation than the Banks fitting. It will fit onto the intake, but it seems you would need tuning for this to work properly though. Few things I could see being an issue:
1) No EGR port in
2) Whatever that plunger on the front side does
3) It stated eliminates...
Looks like it does include those vehicle, very simple read.
The "don't drive or charge it". Like thank you for your money, but can't use the product. Seems they need to start buying these back.
Or better yet, push the stupid thing into the door and NEVER hook it back up after the first time the doors are off. Just making sure the check strap is attached and away you go.
This is what I did when I put my half doors on. Half doors don't have the detent hook up as well.
The H7 I put in mine and that's what came in it (tow option added a bigger battery). It basically took up the entire tray. You may be able to go wider, but I think the H8/H9's are just longer which is where you would hit.
Well, if this is CAD and not USD. The top of the line Rubicon (prior to options) would be $56,550 USD and Sport would be just shy of $36,000 USD. Which I am assuming they are referring too.
But we know with Jeep options they are EXPENSIVE! The stock trim doesn't seem to get much nowadays and...
Useless unless you want to start a cloning side hustle. This will either help pay for the Temu/Ali Baba purchase OR stock the beer fridge.
With how efficient you can do a clone on a diesel, you truly do not have to remove the stock ECU as all the pin connectors are on top. You only have to...
Thank you for your knowledge on the the subject. I'm a wrangler guy, but at least we run the same engine. Have to go back and forth to learn. Interesting about the rings. Hopefully that is not a different issue that is starting to manifest.
I was either thinking the Amsoil MS or Motul X-Clean...
@biodiesel Maybe I have missed it then, but what oil do you run? I know when I switch to T^ just for a test, my DPF would fill up quickly. This was more quickly than when I ran QS Euro. QS was no longer carried at Walmart and I needed to do a change and nothing else had the Chrysler MS spec.
I...
@biodiesel Are you tuned in anyway with the Jeep that you are only driving daily? With my morning commute, I was doing 10 miles with dropping my kids at school and getting to work. Fastest section was 60mph for only a mile. My soot load per ScanGuage would raise around 5% with this drive. I was...
I like their disclaimer in the description. Taking the EGR off this engine seems like a nightmare and then some. There is absolutely no room to go at it from underneath OR the top.
I'm pretty sure their exhaust gives you the plate to close off the EGR tube that gets left open after removing...
When both companies say NO explicitly, I would agree with both of them. It would be nice if it did for replacement if needed.
However if it did fit the Gen3, I would only be looking to replace this if you HAD to replace the intake. I don't know about you all, but to get to this intake coming...
Oh, I wouldn't try it. If I did, I would probably buy a third ecm (for CLONE TUNE ECM) to see if it works. Then it becomes is it worth $250 to keep the Stage 1 for a month while the TUNE ECM is sent to Canada. Since I am a cheapass, I would just reinstall all oem equipment.
Most interesting part on this is the ability to clone a TUNE ECM. I want to upgrade, but I guess still keep my STOCK ECM for a rainy day. But to send my TUNE ECM off, I would have to reinstall the diffuser tube to reinstall the STOCK ECM (one of the main things that can be done with the Stage...
