cb antenna

So I’m getting ready to install a cb. I’m going to fab up a mount like this cooltech one. I like the idea of putting the antenna on the passenger side like in the photo. so my question is, is this a bad location? Will the output from the cb harm the radio being so close to the radio antenna?

Does anyone have an idea on how to route the CB antenna wire coax through the firewall on my JT on the passenger side of the cab? I prefer not drilling any holes but wasn't sure if there's a way to feed the antenna wire into the engine bay.

Wondering if anyone has thought about or if you that already have JTs know where you are going to attach a CB antenna.
