The lady and I are heading out to Missoula, MT for a wedding on 7/12 and I'm hoping to offroad while out west. We will possibly be in the Grand Teton / Yellowstone area before the wedding. Maybe as early as 7/7 and could be there a few days, and then to Missoula by at least 7/11, if not earlier.
It's not fully fleshed yet, as we could do more on the route out, or arrive in MT even earlier for family activities. But I wanted to get feelers out there early enough to see if there's any interest in the parks and Missoula area around 7/7 - 7/14 (possibly a little beyond).
We'll be leaving MT around 7/14 to head to Utah and Moab (or the above parks if not hit yet).
I'm in a stock Gladiator Mojave (33", rockhard rock sliders) with no winch, so riding solo will allow me only the easy, non-desolate trails. I can wheel harder trails, just can't risk getting stuck solo.
That is unless anyone is available to go wheeling with us? Lets get out there while I'm in your beautiful states with the type of trails you can't find in Michigan. I've got walkies, air, recovery gear, etc., just need extra vehicles to make it a safe trip.
Let me know if you're in the area and interested, and I can let you know dates as they're more settled. Can travel to surrounding areas on the non-wedding day.
If you can't join, I'm still open for suggestions on trails that I can safely do solo, or at least not worry about being the only one out on the trail if I need help.
Lunch is on me!
