I went to a work site, and got permission to roll up on some dirt hills. Nothing to ride on, so mostly attacking them at an angle, putting one front tire up and cranking the wheel.
I tried connected and disconnected and I couldn't replicate any rub. I will have to try somewhere I can ride the...
That's one possibility. Another may be that it prevents the pad from being pulled away from the rotor when letting go of the brakes.

My driver side hasn't rubbed, yet. I only mentioned in option #2 that I haven't done enough flexing yet to know if a right turn could create a rub as well. Basically acknowledging that a track bar could fix my passenger rub, or introduce a driver rub. Needs some testing.
Appreciate you looking...
Boring!!
But I know, that's why it's listed options #5 and #7.
If there were a 3 peak 37x11.5 tire available, that would have been on from the start. I'm reviewing other options before going tire change route though. I have a 90 day satisfaction guarantee, so I can swap out, but I don't want...
And see, you're like the examples I've read that lead me to believe I'd be safe, because surely with a lift I have even more room. :) And I do, at least with fenders.
But like I mentioned, there's always different experiences, as sometimes the lift or offset changes become the issue. Lift...
I may end up trimming it if I can run it through some flex/turn cycles and see where it's at risk. And if it's just the skid, trim is all I need. Might do track bar too if I see reason to center it better.
I could put the Mojave skid back on, and it would just require some trimming to fit the...
I might try some washers, since it's so easy. I'll just need to do some testing to find when/where it rubs to know extent. That and trim the plate are easiest.
Ultimately, track bar and wheels are the best option. Just not something I wanted to do yet as wheel shopping has proven difficult...
Yeah, I guess that's similar to those that get rubbing because of the excessive poke.
Bfh, angle grinder, it's all the same in my book. Was just hoping someone had the same issue to know if that is enough. Or that enough didn't have the issue to suggest it may be.
Has anyone else had non-fender related rubbing offroad with 37x12.5r17 on stock wheels on a 2" lifted Mojave? If no, do you ever disconnect your sway bar? Were you able to eliminate rub without new wheels/spacers and how? I'm hoping to find real examples of those that had and fixed the issue...
Right, and at that point why even limit it to the first 100? Let them all enter.
Maybe they're worried about sifting through all the fake applicants, and want to be able to stop looking once they find the first 100 legit GWs.
Your aftermarket wheels are 17x7.5 with the same Mojave offset and you get no rubbing with the 37x12.5 without a lift? I've seen it done, but they usually seem to stay on-road, which you're not. Do you disconnect your sway bars and flex without touching?
@raypla and @bkeast17 ,
I don't know when you plan to install, but I did possibly get some measurements for #2 and 3 above from other Jeeps. So far mine doesn't differ grossly. If you could measure when all apart I'd still appreciate the accuracy though.
However, I still don't have anyone...
This has always been one of those hard to imagine the benefit mods to me, but I've always been curious because of the avid fans. Washers might be a cheap way to give it a try.
Seat Jackers recommends the 0.75" for inseams of 28-34", and 1.25" for 36-38". And the Slammers for those over 6'2"...
@raypla and @bkeast17 or anyone with access to these bumper parts soon.
Since you'll be installing the bumper or winch soon, could you do me a huge favor?
I'd really like to know why this combo doesn't fit for me like it has others, and you're in a rare position to possibly help measure...
Did anyone not switch out the MP tow hooks for their oem ones? And if so, have you used them for heavy recovery pulls and snatches?
I bought a similar bumper and need a spacer, but that will cut me low on threads with the oem hooks. Someone relatively local is selling the MP hooks and they look...
Let us know how it goes. If it's a success, you'll be at least the 4th with the exact same combo fitting.
If you've already got the winch plate in, you could size it up. But I could also tell you that my rear most winch holes are 3/8" forward of the most forward point of the grille at the...
