How well does it hold up to windshield wipers?

Great question!! We get this all the time! Windshield wipers themselves will not scratch ExoShild. However, the risk of scratching increases when the windshield is covered with sand or debris from the road that gets stuck in the wiper blade! We have tips to help reduce the risk of scratching and the overall care/maintenance of your ExoShield to increase its life span!

Sitting outside in the sun for the year should be ok! Our latest version of the film is resistant to UV, so the film will withstand sunny conditions well!
Typically when vehicles come in to get their ExoShield removed/life span is passed, the film will appear hazy!

Hi there!! Great question. The actual DIY kits come with a liner that is actually flush with the edge of the film(unlike the video)! This could definitely throw someone off and have them believe there is no liner! A good way to check is to look at the film and there should be a sticker on the film that says "TOP". The side with the sticker on it is the side with the liner, so going back to the edge of the film and just trying to peel the liner back will help! If you have issues, please contact us and we can point you in the right direction!!
