Hello. We were offered $56k as a trade a couple of weeks ago. Vehicles are selling for 30% over msrp here. Prices are relative to the market. Most people don’t have access to or know how to attend the auction. This is retail and the price would be the same from a dealer if the vehicle was traded in. Thanks for the insight! Two 2022's at auction today for $41k and $43k - both Rubicon's w/ under 20k miles each. Both ran through the lane and were sold.
Three gas Rubicon's for (2021) $45k and (2 x 2022) $48k - all lease returns with under 30k miles. Two sold at asking and there was a bidding war on one of the 2022's selling for $50k.
People are dumping the EcoDiesel's and the auction house prices are reflecting the downturn in confidence.
Which dealer offered you $56k and did you get it in writing? Was it a cash offer or did it have a tax incentive in that number if you bought a new one?Hello. El Paso dealer. If it’s in writing would you make an offer?Which dealer offered you $56k and did you get it in writing? Was it a cash offer or did it have a tax incentive in that number if you bought a new one?
I'm in Texas as well and used vehicle prices are falling at auction and dealer floor plan costs are getting a bit out of control. New Gladiators are selling for anywhere from $3000 - $10000+ OFF MSRP depending on the dealer, model, time of the month, etc... They're certainly not selling for 30% OVER MSRP where I am in the DFW area.
I'm not in the market. Just sold my diesel with the failed HPFP and picked up a 2023 gas Rubicon. Best of luck with the sale!El Paso dealer. If it’s in writing would you make an offer?
