Hi All. I've been lurking in these forums for a couple months, reading, learning and trying to get a sense of how much you all love your Gladiators. I found a 2024 Gladiator Mojave in Anvil with the Green leather interior that I'm going to look at this weekend.

I wanted to get an idea of whether you guys (and gals) think this is a good deal or not and whether I'd be better off looking for something else or somewhere else.

The MSRP on it is a hair over $65k. With the dealer discount plus the manufacturer discount, they're asking a bit over $52k.

Options are the leather upgraded seats, and accessories, heated seats/steering wheel, the active safety group, hardtop headliner, sill guards (which I couldn't care less about), all weather slush mats, the 8-speed auto (would rather have manual but I can live without), hard top in black and the spray-in bedliner.

They add a bunch of stuff from the dealership that they say that the put on all their vehicles but if they don't zero out the cost of those I won't even consider it.

But all things considered, does this sound like a good deal to you? I'm mostly going to use it for commuting back and forth to work but my buddy just got a Wrangler Willys and we are talking about starting to tackle some offroad stuff together. Nothing crazy like climbing rocks but basic offroad things that the Mojave can absolutely handle. Might actually be overkill but would give me the option of desert running (my parents live near Las Vegas so lots of areas to play).

Thanks in advance for your opinions.

Solid deal

I paid 51k | Financed $45k for 36 mos | MSRP $59,920

For my '23 JTM, AUTO, LED Light grp, trailer pkg, spray in liner, color matched fenders, 8.4 screen/Alpine sound and HVY paint.

Didn't want leather or the electronic babysitter grp LOL

I just picked up a Mojave X last week for 53.4k MSRP 67K. They tried to get me during finance with all the extras to make some money back. Just say no.

2024 BTW. LOVE IT!

That's a decent price and it's an X. I don't think this one is an X but the pricepoint would suggest otherwise. Thanks for the info though, something to think about.

Not to me. I know on the RAM side, prices have gone up exponentially. When I bought my 2021 RAM 1500, the base price (without options) was around $38k, if memory serves. 2 Years later, the base price was about $10k higher, for no good reason. I assume that Jeep did the same thing so now they're saying MSRP is $65k but 3 years ago, would it have been $55k? Then maybe $52k isn't such a good deal. Stellantis thinks we're stupid. Jack up the MSRPs then give large % off MSRP as a discount and try to look like we're getting such good deals. Clearly this has backfired on them. At the end of the day, $52k is still $52k so I'm just trying to see if it's still considered a good deal or not. I don't NEED to buy this Mojave but I do like the package and such.

but everything has gone up in the last 3 years. All I'm saying, for a new Mojave at $52K seems like a pretty good value unless you are ok buying used? Look at what $52K buys in other models like a Toyota truck, not much

Everything except salaries 😆

So, I feel like, in the current market, $52k for a Mojave seems like a good deal but I'm just struggling with it being $52k at all. I feel like several years ago this same model would have been more like $45k max. But, whatever, we are where we are. I might pull the trigger this weekend, I might not. I'm not in dire need of a vehicle but I've been watching this particular one drop in price time after time and think I can score a pretty good deal

The sticker on Mojave in 21 was 63K but there ain’t an option box that wasn’t checked off on it. So that sounds like an amazing deal

I may be wrong but it looks like you're shopping at the same dealer where I bought my 2023 JTM in January. If you want, I'll PM the name. They do pile on the dealer extras but I managed to get several deleted. They add a GPS tracker (StarGard) to all the vehicles for inventory control and then try to sell it to you. It's a fancy Lojack that has a phone app that lets you know when the truck is moving unauthorized. I got that, 3 year oil changes ($1800) and the extended warranty (Third party, not Max Care $5200) deleted. Some of the other add ons will be harder to delete as they are on the truck already, like theft protection (etched parts that will get a chop shop in trouble), door edge guards and pulse braking system.
My 2023 MSRP was a few hundred north of $68K and with discounts came to about $52K before taxes and fees. You have a good deal. Good luck with getting rid of the add ons.

Yes, likely it's the same dealer. I already saw that they add that crap to it but I'm looking at buying 2 vehicles so very early on I'm going to let them know that either that crap comes off it or you give to me for free or I walk and buy both somewhere else.

I bought a 24 Mojave yesterday for 16,500 off msrp. After taking a few hours to call around every dealer within 200 miles, I would say about half of them we’re willing to negotiate to that level. The odds are in your favor right now.
