Just a simple report back, after a 2k road trip over the last two weeks, my month old Willys gasser did great. A lot less wind noise than anticipated. Almost lost my hard tonneau when it came loose up front at 75mph and slammed into the mid section, no damage really but felt like a hit a manhole on the freeway. Thang goodness for the safety straps on it.

I drove it as I just normally drive, not hammering it and not being gentle, just normal driving. Some passing and speed, but normal. MPG was 16. Not concerned about mpg really, just reporting that was a normal dude driving over mountainous areas from Idaho through Washington, Oregon and California, river gorge to mountain passes and freeways. BTW F traffic.
