That is a load range E tire which are typically heavier. I have ran them on my super duty in that size but a 1 ton truck needs them. I run load range C size on mine

I have 285/70/17 on my mojave and 265/70/17 on my daughters sport both BFG a/t's

Did you look at the 315/70/17 very similar, slightly wider and 4lbs lighter each

That’s what I am running. So dam quiet I absolutely love these tires.

I did. I'm not a fan of wide. Thanks for the info though.

That’s what I am running. So dam quiet I absolutely love these tires.

agree, both gladiators are super quiet with the bfg tires. My mojave came with the stock M/T tire and they were extremely loud, swapped them the first week I had it and am much happier on the freeway
