So I have a Sport with 1.5 Tereflex front level. New wheels -12mm offset 17x9. 4.53 backset. Wanting to go with 33x12.50-17.
Would 12.5 be too wide and rub? Anyone else done with this size?

You will be 100% fine but you WILL regret not going 35s. I have the same truck, started off with the same level kit and -18 wheels (very minimal difference) and I had zero issues. Now I have an IRO 2” kit wanting 37s.

Don't you have to worry about re gearing etc. When you go above 33?

Nope many threads on here about 35s and stock 3:73. I have no complaints whatsoever running my 35s and the 3:73s. Now if I go to 37s then I probably will have to.

So 35's will fit with my current setup? Are yours 12.5 wide also?

Yes you will be fine. I actually ran my 35x12.5x20 on BR Abram wheels with a -18 offset with NO lift at all. Completely stock. Ran it that way for a few months with zero rubbing or issues what so ever. I didn’t do major off roading but still had no issues in local farm lanes and such. These Gladiators have crazy clearance from the factory for bigger tires. I did the lift for looks more than anything else. Sorry to confuse you in your wheel decision but I’m pretty sure you will regret not going 35s.
