Congratulations what a great accomplishment! Enjoy your new ride - take it slow and drive it for a while before you start your mods - take a look at the marketplace on here as there are always many good deals to be had. This is a great forum for knowledge and advise.
Good advice. We’re def just going to enjoy it as is for this fall and winter. Slowly start building a plan and prioritizing what to do first

My wait was 40 years (14 to 54) bit totally worth it. I have had mine since June and make any excuse I can to go drive it.

The advice above about taking the mods slow is solid. I have a list longer than my arm but it keeps changing which is part of the fun. I am starting with the "wife approved" mods. So far, besides cheap stuff like a stubby antennae, center console storage, etc that aren’t what I would call mods, I have installed a hard tonneau cover. It went so well she is OK with one that Santa will likely bring to me—mud flaps with a running board. This forum has provided all the advice on that.
Haha - I’ll be doing the same thing. Building a list, and having the wife check it twice.

Congrats on the new rig.
If you are thinking about a topper or rooftop tent, I have a GFC platform camper I am getting ready to list for sale here in Colorado.
Enjoy the Jeep.

I've wanted a Jeep since I was 14 years old. Now, at 36 I finally have one! I can't wait to start building this out to be the overland camping vehicle that my son, now 3yrs old, will grow to remember as our adventure truck - and hopefully, he'll take over the keys when he starts driving to have his own adventures.

Looking forward to learning from this group and sharing what we do to our Texas Trail, named ZERO by my son.
