8 months, doing fine. I would like to see longer gas struts so the doors

could open higher, if you're not careful you can hit your head.

I just put mine together and I agree, especially the rear door. It looked like you added something to the seams and had it taped off with painters tape. What did you use and would you recommend?

I used the silcone supplied by the manufacturer, probably some sort of loctite 598 copy. yes, I did use painters tape to keep it clean.

Oh, mine just had a rubber gasket. Maybe I'll add a bead on top of it.

As long as the rubber gasket seals, I would not bother with the silicone. My topper did not come with a seal just the silicone.
