It is absolutely robust enough for a RTT which weighs up to 220lb. We've rigorously tested it and in fact to acheive this rating, we need to test beyond the 220lb. The framing is braced with 3mm Steel in all the crucial places.

So, it can definitely take your RTT even on those back country roads.

The top works great and very happy with the product. Directions were a challenge but there a couple good videos available to help. Took to the desert and the sand made the zippers a bit challenging but functioned well. I have an iKamper sky camp 3.0 on my 2023 Rubicon and fits nicely and travels well. Good luck.
