I bought the truck with this installed already. I decided to get a Tazer and took it off today. It worked while it was plugged in.
If you don't want the complexity of the Tazer (and its possible side effects) but also don't like pressing the button every time you start, this is the doohickey for you. Plug it into the SGW harness and zip tie it out of the way. The fit and quality of the harness is OEM-like. According to the manufacturer the same harness works in other FCA vehicles, not just Jeeps. I haven't had an issue with the remote start since I bought it in early March.
It appears to be an actual Autostop Eliminator brand but I cannot confirm since it came with the truck. But compare to the one on their site: https://www.autostopeliminator.com/products/2020-jeep-gladiator-autostop-eliminator
It retails for $100.
Prefer to sell it locally but not opposed to shipping it.
