So I decided to go the superstrut route for a DIY Bed Rail System. I had rigged up a lil system using the bolt holes/washers etc to hold my board/trackboard and shovel that i have to have to drive on the beach here in DE. so i uninstalled that and proceeded to bolt up the stuperstrut. I do not have a bed liner spray yet, I have two bolt holes that are a problem (both on the drivers side) one goes in and out but wont go all the way in... the second one is about half way in and just spins, wont go in anymore and wont come out at all.... anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix/take care of this?? I'd really appreciate any help. On a positive note, I was able to make a set of crossbars that fit under my tonneau cover to carry my boards/kayaks to the water and still cover the bed when out on the water. [until i figure out what rack or solution I go with to get the boards up over the cab (I have a soft top and use it everyday that it is not raining so I want/need to be able to open) I prefer to have my gear up higher so I can use the bed, have gear more over the cab and also open the top]
