About to order tires for my Gladiator. I am going 37x12.5x17 on my Warn Jackhammer wheels. I am deciding between hybrid tires like the Nitto Ridge grapplers or something like a Mickey Thompson Baja Boss or other similar MT tire.

I do daily drive my truck but when I do it is to visit a construction site so some road miles then bumping around a site. I also want to make my rig trail ready for anything I will come across here in North Carolina and surrounding areas but again nothing crazy just some fun stuff to overland camp with my boys.

I have tried doing research but all the reviews I find just seem to be bias good reviews so I need some help from the experts! This is my first truck so I have no experience with hybrid tires or mud terrains so I need some help.

thanks!

I'm daily driving on Goodyear Kevlar MTRs in a 37 12.5 17 and my morning commute is roughly 40 minutes one way and I'm considering going to a AT3 or something hybrid. I was running BFG KO2s in a 35 before swapping to the MTRs and I was told by many on this forum and other forums that the MTRs were some of the more quiet M/Ts and they rode close to how a A/T does. Well I can tell you that that is not the case. They are loud and you feel the road. I expected that and I don't hate it but I really don't feel like a M/T is required here in NC. I'm in Kannapolis/Charlotte area and I ran 1 set of M/Ts on my JKU and then nothing but BFG KO2s in 35 after that and wheeled it hard and never had a problem on any trail I took it on.
